Oliver Anthony

Hi, I've spent a while today eliminating some of your duplication, drawing related information together and re-ordering some of your edits (thank you for the added info, by the way) and have just found that you’ve moved some bits back again. There *was* good reason for the moves! It is important for any article that there is flow, and that was what I was trying to achieve. You eliminated some of that when you moved things around again. The flow I had in the Career section was: A first couple of paras, the lead up to Rich Men; B Rich Men subsection; C other items, which led on *chronologically* from Rich Men, and which will naturally flow into/become other sections as his career progresses. I plan to sort things out to that very logical arrangement once more. So please do not make things un-chronological again. This is important. Thanks. Boscaswell talk 07:34, 16 August 2023 (UTC)

Boscaswell - Material including Anthony’s second concert (from this past weekend in NC) belongs in CAREER, not under his latest hit. Will move back as needed. Please do not engage in an edit war but seek consensus on TP. Thanks!
XavierItzm You’ve just destroyed once more the beautiful chronological flow that there was from the second para of the career section, the wording of which I am very proud of, into the Rich Men song.
Good articles are not merely a hot hotchpotch of information from here and there. Good Wikipedia editing is not getting the hang of how Wikipedia works, finding info and adding it in. It is writing well and producing an informative flow of worthwhile information.
Oh, and edit warring is reverting something or altering it back repeatedly, not once. Boscaswell talk 20:04, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
Boscaswell, edit warring is sometimes considered started from the first revert. You may have missed this, which precisely would make it edit warring to re-add the issue in contentioneven once before the discussion is finished.XavierItzm (talk) 16:48, 21 August 2023 (UTC)

on Talk:Oliver Anthony…..

…in the section entitled "why is a promise to God and anonymous fan comment in this article?" there is a discussion going on about the following sequence of events and whether or not it’s notable. And also epiphanic, I firmly believe. In the article is: "in July 2023 Anthony broke down and promised God that he would get sober if he helped him follow his dream. Around 30 days later, West Virginia music channel radiowv asked him to record a song for its YouTube music channel, and the result was "Rich Men North of Richmond"."
An editor is determined, it seems, to break up this sequence and relegate anything to do with him praying to the Personal life section. Please could you weigh in on the discussion. Thanks. Boscaswell talk 03:10, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
