Welcome to my talk page

Welcome! If you want to talk to me just leave a message here and I'll get back to you! However I do ask that if I make a mistake or something- not to be unwikipedian or anything, please tell me the mistake first. Then give me a manual or something. Thanks!--VampireKen (talk) 23:30, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

I should add that if you get me so aggravated over something or you think you rule a Wikipedia article I will not sound nice at all. Even if I still don't like you I will apologize the next day.--VampireKen (talk) 04:42, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

but if you still think you rule the article then I will not apologize. LET OTHER PEOPLE EDIT ARTICLES!!! I don't care if a policy says something about upcoming films if it's real it's real!--VampireKen (talk) 16:54, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

I've always been like this. Sorry...--VampireKen (talk) 02:20, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Help

Futhermore..

To amplify a little, not citing a source isn't vandalism, which is seen as deliberate disruption of the encyclopedia. A notice was a little harsh, perhaps. --Rodhullandemu 21:07, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Halloween and vampires

Hello Ken, Because you have a vested interest in vampires I thought I would make you aware that there is a discussion over at the Halloween WikiProject about whether they (and, by extension, other undead and horror creatures) are implicitly linked to Halloween or not. You are not a member of the project (yet, anyway!) but I thought your perspective might be of interest.--otherlleft (talk) 03:36, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Please look at the Wikipedia Manual of Style. Adding paragraphs to articles without sourcing them or integrating them with other similar material in the article is likely to get them tagged for cleanup or removed. --♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 21:18, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Reply.

I know as per WP:BITE. It just get me so mad sometimes. Lol. The hidden messages are put in there for just that reason. Ya know? I don't know. But you are right. --HELLØ ŦHERE 03:09, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

To be completely honest, I don't check their history most of the time, unless they persistently change a page with false information. Then I'll go and check their history, and if they haven't been warned lately, I'll do that, but other than that, I usually just keep to myself and my watched pages. --HELLØ ŦHERE 17:50, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

It's not a problem about getting my name wrong. And I know you were talking about the original, I wasn't saying those things to you, I was just adding to what you said for other people. --HELLØ ŦHERE 06:04, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Titanic

Do you have a source for this? If not, could you please remove it, as that article underwent some serious rewritting to get rid of cruft (not making a judgement on your info, but everything else there is pretty well sourced). NJGW (talk) 04:01, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Let me know if you have any questions about finding sources. Here's a starting point, though I didn't see anything at first glance that address this directly. If you post on the talk page with a link to the video you mentioned then maybe others can help you out as well. NJGW (talk) 04:25, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

My editing style

It depends on what they are doing. I'm not going to allow someone to violate a policy or guideline simply because. With Halloween 2, it's all mentioned on the franchise page there is no reason to spit out the same information on another page. It's redundant, and completely unnecessary. If this was a lone film, ok, but this is all part of one larger franchise. That is why all discussion regarding a third Batman movie is on the Batman film series page, and not on The Dark Knight page. The reason future films are often redirected or deleted (typically the former), is because of the notability guideline on future films. Basically, if the film has not been released then the production itself must be notable. That means, there must be enough information, reliably sourced, out there to support a completely separate article. If all you have is about a decent paragraph of real information (e.g., not something trivial like someone being cast, but actual "this is what we're doing for these scenes" info), then you don't need a whole page just to publish that. That was why F13 didn't have a page for a long time, and why Halloween 2 probably won't have a page for a long time. Zombie's good about getting us production details, so I don't think that will be an issue once he finally starts production and starts releasing information to us.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 20:07, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Also, if you see me reverting back extensive plot additions, it's because of WP:MOSFILMS, which details a basic guideline on how long a plot should be (and for these horror movies, that isn't very long at all). If you ever question anything that I've done, please just send me a message on my talk page and I'll try my best to provide a reasonable justification (well, it's always reasonable to me, but you know what I mean ;).) for why I did what I did. If you completely disagree after that, or completely disagree before hand just start a discussion on the talk page and we can get more people to weigh in on the topic.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 01:37, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
