Pronunciation respelling key

I reverted your edit to Worcestershire sauce. Please consult Help:Pronunciation respelling key for conventions. "uh" is used only for the STRUT vowel /ʌ/. "uhr" is not used as its own unit, though "urr" is used for the vowel–consonant sequence /ʌr/ as in hurry. The guide specifies "ə" for the COMMA vowel, and "ər" for the LETTER vowel. Some major accents of the English language, such as General American, often treat the STRUT /ʌ/ and COMMA /ə/ vowels as the same, and the NURSE /ɜːr/ and LETTER /ər/ vowels as the same, but other major accents, such as Received Pronunciation and Australian English, do not treat these pairs as the same. - Gilgamesh (talk) 09:00, 23 July 2022 (UTC)

"Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Spy × Family's map

Thank you for the map you added. I think it is really great. But I have one problem, although we know that the (manga) map is basically 99% West-East Germany, but there are some small details that are changed (like "Berlint" is not divided by some "Berlint Wall", the yellow spot on the real world's map) and some details are not confirmed in the manga (like lines on the real world's map). I want to ask you first, since you are the one who added the map, lest my edit offended you or disregard your work: is it ok if I replace your map with the manga and anime maps? - Theodorethebear (talk) 09:13, 22 August 2022 (UTC)

Images

Except with very good reason, do not use px (e.g. |thumb|300px), which forces a fixed image width measured in pixels.In most cases upright=scaling_factor should be used, thereby respecting the user's base preference (which may have been selected for that user's particular devices)......see WP:IMAGESIZE

Images make Wikipedia more informative, accessible, and professional.

In general, when working with images:

DO: Review the image style guide and use policy. Give context with captions and alt text. Try to find at least one image for each article. Find free images, or create and upload your own. Clean up images: crop, color-correct, etc. Use the best file format for each image. Use objects for scale where helpful. Place images in the section to which they are related

DON'T: Don't upload non-free images. Don't use images in place of tables or charts. Don't use images or galleries excessively. Don't add images that are not relevant. Don't flip faces, text, or works of art. Don't set fixed image sizes. Don't sandwich text between two images. Don't refer to images by their placement.

Pointless changes to white-space and capitalization

Please do not make edits that consist of adding or removing white spaces that don't change the way the page looks to the reader, such as changing == Overview == to ==Overview== like you did here at Trans woman (and every other section header in the article). Same thing where you changed {{See also|...}} to {{see also|...}} These are not an improvement to the article, and altering the way spaces or capitalization are used in an article to your own preference when the previous version was already valid is a violation of MOS:VAR, so please don't do it. When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Gamergate (harassment campaign), please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Mmm, not sure. We ordinarily only have the free or open access indicator on DOI or JSTOR IDs, because those IDs bring you through to the work. It's more typical for a URL to be locked behind a registration or subscription because we're linking to a source like the NYTimes than directly to an ebook. Linking to the Verge's "cover page" (for lack of a better term) where they released it as a PDF/ePub/mobi download might have worked, though you might have eventually got a {{verification failed}} if someone tried doing a quick search for the quotation on it because the bulk of the content on that page is an excerpt from chapter 3.
