Proposed deletion of Sawmill Parkway

The article Sawmill Parkway has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails to establish a claim to notability under WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disambiguation link notification for May 6

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Old State Road, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New Haven, OH. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:58, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

VA secondary route page

Maybe slow down adding the new pages? It'll be a while before I get high in the 600's, unless you wanted to start some yourself... Just a thought. Famartin (talk) 17:24, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Famartin: I will add a few of the upper 600s pages. --TZLNCTV (talk) 17:30, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Noizegarden (band)

Hello TZLNCTV,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Noizegarden (band) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

List of Germanic cognates moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, List of Germanic cognates, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 05:54, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, TZLNCTV. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "List of Germanic cognates".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Dolotta (talk) 14:49, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Old State Road requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. –Fredddie 02:56, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Another Old State Road

Should this article that you wrote ever make the mainspace again, there is also the Painesville-Warren State Road that you can research. Mapsax (talk) 23:36, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Mapsax: Thank you. I've been compiling different state roads and turnpikes in Ohio (and several other states) into a map recently, and I think the Painesville–Warren State Road may be the road that was granted an appropriation from the Three Percent Fund in 1817 (the legislative act named it as a state road from Warren to the mouth of the Grand River). I'll have to look more into it and see if I can find the legislative act that estalished the road itself. --TZLNCTV (talk) 09:23, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:NicholasJFuentes-AF-E948.png

Thanks for uploading File:NicholasJFuentes-AF-E948.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 09:30, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
