Hello, Sparklism/Archive 1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Again, welcome!

Album tags

Hi, thanks for tagging the album articles you created with the album tag. It is not necessary to actually leave your signature for them, however. Keep up the good work! Bubba hotep 16:01, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Album tags, we meet again!

Hi, Spark. I've answered fully back on my talk page about the "auto" thing. Also, while I'm here, I've removed those unsightly deletion warnings from above! Best to keep the one immediately above for now, though. Keep up the good work! Also, you've never been formally welcomed! So I've added a special albums welcome that I concocted, above! Bubba hotep 18:50, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

I see you are forging on with these. Excellent stuff. I'm finding it hard to keep up with all the new articles created every day, but we can only do what we can do. Keep it up. :) Bubba hotep 10:23, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

The two articles are from the same publication. There's really no need to add both. --Walter Görlitz 15:14, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey, nope, this page is not necessary, everything is on Guru's page. I edited it cause there are 2 pages for the "Jazzmatazz vol. 4" here and here, the 2nd one should get deleted IMO.--NeptunianDroid 22:09, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Hello

Hi Sparklism - good to hear from you. There's at least 3 of us involved in Wikipedia, last.fm AND My Football Club - EddieBernard is here too. Cheers --Georgethe23rd 10:12, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

The Fall

I guess we'll just have to wait for the guy to shoot his load and then rv the whole lot. Wwwhatsup 22:34, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Sandiacre

I removed the erroneous reference, I think I was looking at the previous version when I added the Derbyshire info box. I've taken out Hayden now. Bevo74 21:04, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

I don't know I just assumed that he managed Boston United. Kingjamie (talk) 16:30, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Bunnymen discog

Thanks, it's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it! Seriously, thanks it is nice to know someone appreciates it. I was quite surprised at the lack of Bunnymen stuff. Cheers --JD554 (talk) 07:49, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes - "one of the most influential acts" is a quote from an article - i.e. the author's opinion, and not a quantifiable fact. Someone else may disagree with the twins being influential, so whose opinion is correct ? That's why WP generally tries to confine itself to facts that can be verified - someone voicing an opinion (even if sourced) isn't necessarily a fact. If you'd said 'they've sold 10 million albums', or 'well known music critic Fred Jones stated "they were the best group ever"', then those are facts, and sources can be stated to back them up. I've therefore changed the text to show this was a quote from Socialist Worker - I hope we can both agree on that :-) CultureDrone (talk) 20:57, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Good - I hate arguing, especially with established editors :-) CultureDrone (talk) 21:01, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Notability is not inherited

Please note that notability is not automatically inherited (see WP:NOTINHERITED). Especially, this means that even if an artist is notable, that does not make every one of their songs and albums notable. If you have any questions, please refer to WP:N or ask me at my talkpage. Thanks! --Falcon Darkstar Kirtaran (talk) 06:43, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Hey!

I answered your question. I've NEVER done it before, but it'll probably work.

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Sparklism! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 940 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Alan Vega birthdate

As you may know Alan Vega's birthdate is currently listed as 1948. There appears to conflicting evidence - the official book - versus the currently sourced Blast First Press Release. I'm trying to build consensus for a change. Please add comments on Talk :Alan Vega. Thanks. Wwwhatsup (talk) 06:37, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 17:57, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
