Hello, my name is Pam Sinclair -- I am excited to have my own Wikipedia account.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

First, thank you for considering unblocking my account. I should have read more thoroughly the Wikipedia guidelines for posting information. I only made spelling and grammatical corrections to the Wikipedia pages I went to. I work for oDesk.com and was hired by a person called Darius Fisher who is the co-founder of Investment Underground. He asked me to post the Exosite information to my sandbox (the information looked legitimate). I had no idea that I would be blocked. I have reported the block to oDesk. I would like my account to be unblocked. I no longer work for Darius. I apologize for any unethical behavior I may have exhibited because of my stupidity. Please reinstate me and I thank you for your consideration. Pam Sinclair Pam Sinclair 01:30, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You don't address the reason why you were blocked. Bbb23 (talk) 22:24, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please just remove my account. I didn't know when I posted the information that I would be blocked. I realized I was being used by another individual. I enjoy using Wikipedia and this is just an embarrassment so please just remove my account.

Thank you.

Pam

We don't remove accounts. What do you mean by "I realized I was being used by another individual"?--Bbb23 (talk) 01:35, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I realized afterward that Darius Fisher who works for Investment Underground was using me and my account for unethical reasons. I'm not even sure how. I looked him up and thought that his company was legitimate. I did not know until I was blocked that I was doing anything wrong. I realize now that I was doing something wrong. Why can't you delete my account -- every account can be deleted. I know I did UNIX administration for years. Every time I use Wikipedia I think of what happened. It's horrible. I work for oDesk.com, I am trying to supplement my income. I made a mistake. I accept responsibility.

Thank you.

License tagging for File:PamsFirstFile.pdf[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:PamsFirstFile.pdf. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:05, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Opting in to VisualEditor[edit]

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 50 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "MediaWiki:Visualeditor-preference-enable". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 20:13, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
