Newly created pages for albums by editor

Hi Random - I think you have looked at some K-pop album pages recently created by User talk:KpopBoy who does not have a User name. I do not do any monitoring or administrator work, but I noticed this editor's contributions today. They appear to be creating album pages, often without any references and with questionable notability. I have not looked through all their contributions, and only noticed them when they made an edit on a page for DEAN, which I often edit. Kpopboy appears to make a few edits in search of albums to create pages for, then creates an album page. I will not be surprised to find a page created for DEAN's first EP soon. I do not think that DEAN currently warrants separate Discography or Album or Song pages; and therefore, hope Kpopboy does not do this.

I agree with the WikiProject Korea stance on maintaining the K-pop pages to be consistent with all WP pages; and appreciate the efforts that Administrators and Korea project workers have made in tidying up the pages.

KpopBoy is citing Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums as a purpose for creating these new pages, which appear to be causing a goodly amount of maintenance time by many editors like yourself, to monitor and place tags and/or recommending them for Deletion.

Although I make it my personal policy to go directly to the User and discuss issues about editing, I feel that someone like yourself might be better to take this on as a possible problem editing area for K-pop pages.

P.S. - I finally got around to adding the references and info. we discussed for Lee Eun-mi (singer) although it still looks kind of sketchy. Hopefully others will continue to add more history now that it is started. She was quite interesting!

@Bonnielou2013: I tried discussing this issue with KpopBoy before (see here), but he won't communicate. Where did he cite WikiProject Albums? FYI, WP:NALBUM states "Album articles with little more than a track listing may be more appropriately merged into the artist's main article". This applies to many of KpopBoy's album article creations. I redirected some of them because a good article could possibly be created (like with Closer (Oh My Girl EP)), but there's no point of keeping it up if it's unsourced with no content. Hi Random, I remember reading a couple of articles back in August 2015 about Taeyeon's younger sister being accepted as a trainee at SM Ent. I tried to search for the original article, but could not find it. Do you know if such an article does exist? I saw an incorrect source about f(x) and I had to make the change. Another user even did the same thing beforehand. So I'm not alone here. I understand what is an actual source (I have studied at schooling and learnt about it) and using "the queens of art-pop" is not a source. The Pink Tape art film belongs to the Pink Tape album, and Pink Tape is a concept album. Even on the album cover you could see. Maybe I know this because I am a f(x) fan, but the genre is not art-pop, the concept of the album is. Also, that source has not been backed up by anyone else. It was just four words and no one has come in to confirm it. I don't want to sound rude but you should know the difference between concept album and genres :/ You can't use one obviously controversial "source" and keep adding in, trying to silence my well defended opinion on it. Pop Matters is a website dedicated to popular music and media and saying a group or singer is the "queen of _____" is popular expression used by youth on twitter, tumblr, etc. It is not factual. It is just an opinion and expression. The concept of the Pink Tape album is meant to bring homage to artsy things, cult classic films, etc. Watch the art film of Pink Tape and it is clearer. Pink Tape is a concept album, and obviously, we are both interpreting that sentence differently, along with two other users, so how can it even be used as a correct source now when it's being constantly debated upon by us? You can't just include that in. Art Pop as a genre was never included in this wiki, and four words that NO ONE has backed up and approved is not a proper source. If I knew how to report this, I would, but I'm new to Wiki. You can't add a source like this and it being debated upon proves its unreliability. That should be logic. PopMatters is a reliable source, so that is why it can be included. Yes it does. I know what I'm talking about. You're just choosing to ignore me. I understand why you think it is a reliable source (it is a source afterall) but it isn't. It has equally been argued upon 2 v 2 people. How can you possibly go against me and the other person when only you and another user are agreeing with it while me and another aren't? You shouldn't be using it as a reliable source for that on its own. I know what sources are to be reliable or not, and I know music, Pink Tape is a concept album and it was referring to the concept of it. All genres are a matter of opinion but there's only one editor who used four words, and two users who are siding with it. So you are in the minority here. Please do not do this again, you are incorrect and purposely not trying to understand me. Maybe because English isn't my first language is why I'm not making sense. "Queens of dance-pop" wouldn't even be used because that's a laughable source right there. Other sites have listed the genre of Pink Tape, and explained it, instead of using twitter slang to describe the concept of the album. I have been taught for years that if a source is constantly debated upon, it shouldn't be taken as serious and only as insight. Cosmicgirls: Hello Cosmicgirls, I do not have "Pink Tape" on my watchlist so I'm not 100% aware of its editing history, but I just took a look at the article. Both sources that you referred to for "Rum Pum Pum Pum" do not have any indications that the song is dance-pop [4] and [5]. The Naver link [6] only has a tracklist with no in-dept description about any of the songs at all. The "Composition" in that article is literally unsourced right now.
