ACC question

hi, yesterday i was given account creator rights (or so i think). i created an account in the UI, i logged in, but when i tried to create an account for a user request, i was unable to. it said "the name is too similar." i also noticed that when i look at my user group rights, it doesn't say "account creator." am i missing something? thanks for your help! shirulashem (talk) 13:14, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi, The ACC group on wikipedia is only given to highly active and experienced ACC users. Untill you have made around 10-15 accounts Its unlikely it would be granted. In the meantime defer those types of requests. «l| Ψrometheăn ™|l» (talk) 05:48, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. As a general rule I dont use a watchlist, but instead I will monitor all anon edits (and depending on edit rattes user edits as well) whilst im on wikipedia. I understand that, however (to all the talk page stalkers) protection is this page (without consulting me) will result in an immediate request to un-protect.
