- Hello @Innocentbunny:! I have read multiple news articles in media which loosely claimed that SWASTHA is working to improve content related to Covid-19 with Wikipedia. Also in the same article media mentioned "Wikipedia is providing COVID-19 related information in 9 Indian languages including Bangla, Bhojpuri, Hindi, Kannada, Arabic, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.". This is generally followed by a quote from Abhishek Suryawanshi. There were several news reports which almost published the same. This as a whole is leading to some misconception about the impact of the project in the question.
- On the other hand, At least there is no single post published by SWASTHA on Village pump encouraging Telugu Wikipedians to create content related to Covid-19 in Telugu Wikipedia Village pump. We are conducting a project to improve and update Covid-19 related content locally in Telugu Wikipedia which SWASTHA members might not know. To reiterate from my previous message, those are Goals for anyone interested, those are not claims. For those two odd telugu articles we have volunteers in our team who might expand and improve these articles as and when they get time to do so. Hence, we have listed them under Goals. I am happy to learn about initiatives on Telugu Wikipedia and would esteem with great favour if we all work together and do our little bits at this hour.
