Disambiguation link notification for October 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jürgen Locadia, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Emmen and Willem II (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Miiko Albornoz[edit]

Hi! Please read Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view before you make edits such as the one you were making at Miiko Albornoz. A minor news site with extremist views is not a reliable source. Since this is such a sensitive and highly controversial matter I believe it's common sense that we should wait until his name is confirmed by reliable sources such as DN, SDS, Sydsvenskan and so on. Statements such as this needs more than one source, especially if that source is like the one you used. Also when we do have those sources I would refrain from using the exact words that you did; 1. The player is only a suspect, he is not gulity until proven so in court. 2. The crime classification is not "våldtäkt mot barn" but "sexuellt utnyttjande av barn" as is mentioned in several reliable sources. I would also ask of you to please refrain from offensive language when discussing with me. Let's just wait this out until we have more to go on. Thanks! --Reckless182 (talk) 10:12, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to the Pedophilia article[edit]

To put it simply, your edits to that article are messes. This bit that I reverted and this bit that I reverted are both messes. And, despite this revert by you, none of that mess will be in the Pedophilia article. None of it. Sexual attraction to a 15-year-old is not even pedophilia, which you would know if you had actually read and grasped the lead of the article. Oh, and your humor does not belong in that article in the least. Flyer22 (talk) 02:10, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary needed[edit]

Use Preview button[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Pedophilia , it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Reliable sourcing and edit-warring[edit]

Hi there, regarding your recent edits: You need reliable sources to support your assertions in the article. Wikis like Wiktionary are not reliable sources. Please do not repeatedly revert to restore your poorly-sourced or unsourced material. If you keep doing it, it is called edit warring and you may be blocked for it. Zad68 19:45, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote a source. How reliable does it have to be? ParkinsonProject (talk) 19:49, 15 January 2014‎ (UTC)[reply]
Have you looked at WP:RS? Pedophilia is a well-studied field, you should be looking for up-to-date psychological publications such as review articles in peer-reviewed journals and university-level textbooks. Zad68 19:50, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, also see Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources (medicine) (WP:MEDRS). And remember to sign your username at the end of the comments you make on Wikipedia talk pages. All you have to do to sign your username is simply type four tildes (~), like this: ~~~~. I signed your username for you above. Flyer22 (talk) 22:49, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you.

Hello ParkinsonProject. You may respond to this complaint if you wish: WP:AN3#User:ParkinsonProject reported by Zad68 (Result: ). Simply append your response there and sign it. You do appear to be guilty of edit warring, and sanctions are possible. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 21:19, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring at Pedophilia[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Pedophilia. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Vladimir Sarenpya[edit]

Hi, last year you created an article on Vladimir Sarenpya. A year later it still contains no supporting references.

It would be wonderful if you could address this problem. I am unable to find anything significant in the English language about him, but have put a template on the page to suggest that someone might like to help by translating the Russian article about him. Thanks. Nick Moyes (talk) 23:01, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Martin Lund Pedersen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTY having never played in a fully professional league or in a senior international fixture.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kosack (talk) 19:08, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jean Claude Arnault has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Ways to improve Hafnia (food company)[edit]

Hi, I'm Sam Sailor. ParkinsonProject, thanks for creating Hafnia (food company)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hafnia Konserves was bought by Jyske Andelsslagteriers Konservesfabrik i 1971. I doubt we can find sources to make this pass WP:NCORP.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Sam Sailor 19:12, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, ParkinsonProject. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Hafnia (food company), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Nomination of Hafnia (food company) for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Hafnia (food company) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hafnia (food company) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Sam Sailor 13:46, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hafnia (food company) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi ParkinsonpProject, Greetings. Pls note that your creation of Rami Rantanen has been moved to Draft:Rami Rantanen. Content added/edited in Wikipedia needs "inline citation" from independent (third party / secondary / tertiary) reliable source (in any language) for verification to gauge the nobility criteria is met. The articles's inline citation is the WP:BURDEN which it is on the person adding the information. Please note official website, records of sport events or individual player records are consider primary source and not independent source, and social network source such as facebook, twitter, instagram, imbd and etc are considered NOT reliable source and can not be used for citing. Independent reliable source are sources are those obtain from major newspaper, such as The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, CNN news and etc. or source obtain from major publisher of the work (for example, Random House or Cambridge University Press). Pls see

  1. reliable source - see WP:RS
  2. primary vs secondary vs tiartiary source - see WP:WPNOTRS
  3. verification - see WP:V
  4. notability - see WP:N
  5. webcite - see WP:CITEWEB and its template -see Template: cite web

Once you have provided inline citations, you could move back the page to "article" to resubmit. For more editing help, you could send your question to the friendly and helpful volunteers at the Teahouse. Lastly, I strongly encourage you to visit WP:The Wikipedia Adventure for there are some short and fun exercises on neutrality, verifiability, collaboration, research and sourcing. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Skandiamannen[edit]

Hello ParkinsonProject,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Skandiamannen for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Arktisk Stadion a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Trysenko listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Trysenko. Since you had some involvement with the Trysenko redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. PamD 12:45, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding Draft:Rami Rantanen[edit]

Information icon Hello, ParkinsonProject. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Rami Rantanen, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. Bot0612 (talk) 04:02, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
