February 2021[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Russian culture; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 18:28, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Horse Eye's Back: I reverted twice. That is not called an "edit-war". That did not even break the WP:3RR rule. Other users disagree? You mean the IP user—who is currently blocked for edit-warring. Check his edit-history one time. Either way, I do not want to start an edit-war. I gave a LONG summary, with a justified explanation for my edits; and told him to discuss on the talk page to reach consensus—and the reason I reverted him. I even told him to not start an edit-war. People do not get "blocked for editing" this easily. Noelcubit (talk) 18:44, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
See point 1. 3rr is a bright line but it doesn't mean that less isn't edit warring. I actually support the lions share of changes you want to make to the lead, but I think its up to you not the IP to open the talk page discussion and get consensus. Requesting some article expansion help[edit]

Greetings,

Please do have a look at Talk:Black Sea#Coastal cities, requesting help; and help expand Black Sea#Coastal and port cities on Black Sea coast and trade.

Also requesting to visit Draft:Avret Esir Pazarları, an article is about Ottoman times female slavery with a special focus on the state of non-elite common women slavery in those times; and help expand the same if you find yourself interested in the topic.

Thanks and warm regards

SPI Archives[edit]

Hi. I'm looking at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Vyaiskaya/Archive and see that back in February, you made a bunch of edits to it. Please don't edit the SPI archives directly. We appreciate any assistance we get in tracking down socks, but the correct procedure is to open a new report. See "How to open an investigation" at WP:SPI for details on how to do that. Thanks. -- RoySmith (talk) 17:06, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Horope per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Horope. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 13:41, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
