License tagging for Image:K-L-Lindau wappen.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:K-L-Lindau wappen.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Citibuslogo.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Citibuslogo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 22:33, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seacliff[edit]

Hi Nankai. Thanks for your addition. As section 2.10.1 of the reserve management plan says that everything at the old site has been demolished, I have done a bit of rephrasing. Is there also a good way we can reference a connection between the Asylum and the backpackers? The backpackers alone would likely not be notable on its own... Their website is down, BTW. Cheers and happy editing. MadMaxDog 21:14, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:IntercityNZlogo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:IntercityNZlogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:07, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Orokonuimap.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Tourist highway, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fair use rationale for Image:Gowellingtonlogo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Gowellingtonlogo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Galleries[edit]

Hi Nankai - Thanks for adding more pictures of the Northern busway. Like them, good photography. Admittedly however, I don't like galleries that much - if an article like the Northern busway has twenty images (well, I'm kidding, but there's a lot now) then it feels more like a Commons Gallery, and less like an article which should focus on text (the fact that the galleries have a different layout than a normal article doesn't help). In general, there's a Wikipedia tendency to remove galleries as well, so its not just me.

Would you mind much if we reduced the images on the the article to 3-5 that are standard-layout within the article, and moved the rest into a dedicated category on Commons which was then linked to from the article? Ingolfson (talk) 03:09, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have already moved them into the category. If you would prefer a gallery page on Commons, that would be okay too. Ingolfson (talk) 08:04, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:MetroCHlogo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MetroCHlogo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:06, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Geodata/Dunedin suburbs[edit]

Hi Nankai - sorry it's taken me so long to answer (that's the problem when there are two new messages on a talk page - I only tend to see the last one, and someone commented shortly after you did). With geodata, I honestly don't know if there's an easy way - I usually leave it to someone else to add the geodata. Perhaps if you had a look at the history of a few articles to see who actually adds the data, and ask them (I think that User:The Anome does a lot of this via a bot, so (s)he may be the person to ask).

As far as the Dunedin suburbs template goes, thanks for the comments. I did consider adding a lot of the outer townships (e.g., Middlemarch, Allanton, etc) but didn't want to make the template too bulky (if they were all added it might well dominate some of the stubbier pages). It might be worth adding a few more than are on there, though.

As to the motorway, I think it's notable enough, and is certainly linked from a fair number of articles - good work :) Grutness...wha? 00:53, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vexing Vexillology[edit]

Okay - so you've given yourself away a bit :) Who are you?

As to the flag image, I've got some bad news for you - the image in Wikipedia is officially correct - the United Tribes flag has five-pointed stars and white fimbriation (Busby's 1834 image was amended when it was gazetted in New South Wales in 1835). But the version of the flag most often seen - an unofficial version - has eight-pointed stars and black fimbriation around the smaller cross (which means that the ODT's page 7 image is still wrong!) Ideally we should have both versions on Wikipedia - I'll try to make an image of the unofficial version and add a section on the flag to United Tribes of New Zealand. Grutness...wha? 00:50, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your name's vaguely familiar - though I'm not in contact much with illustrations. I work mainly from home but my contacts for work I do at the ODT are Nigel Benson and Spencer Morgan, both of whom you probably know. As to the hikoi, yes, they're using the eight pointed-star flag, but with black not white around the smaller cross. I've amended a couple of articles relating to that flag to show both designs and explain why there's a difference. Grutness...wha? 01:51, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Antipodes[edit]

Mmmmmm. that's a tricky one. It is fairly much in the WP:OR category. It could be cut down and made into a section off Antipodes, but it would need to be cut down a lot for that. An alternative would be to split out the whole "List of Antipodes" section from the Antipodes article into a new article - that would allow for a longer list of NZ ones (and for expanding of ones for other countries). As far as the Wikiethics of it are concerned, I must admit I'm not that strong on them - but reading through the OR link above should give you the main points. Could the Marlow school be the Sir William Borlase's Grammar School instead? - Scribble Monkey (talk) 12:24, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Zealandia[edit]

Thanks for that, Peter. Weirdly, there's another connection, as the original model for the woman on the Coat of Arms was very probably my ex's grandmother, Alice Spragg. James Grutness...wha? 21:55, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yup - daughter of Silas Spragg, and great niece (IIRC) of early ODT bigwig Sir George Fenwick (if I remember it right, Silas married the daughter of George's brother Robert). Alice (my ex) has old family photos of her grandma (who was a well-known figure in both Dunedin and Wellington) with writing on the back which suggests that she was modelling for the image. Not hard-and-fast evidence, but certainly suggestive. Grutness...wha? 05:36, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Christchurch Bus Services Ltd requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. E. Fokker (talk) 03:15, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Christchurch Bus Services Ltd has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. E. Fair use rationale for File:Expressway begins nz.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Expressway begins nz.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Armbrust Talk Contribs 23:27, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

India and expressway[edit]

Why remove India from expressways? They're called expressways in India, and as such, such a section should exist in the expressways page. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 05:20, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Expressways as such in India refer to roads which are completely grade separated and offer controlled access, unlike other highways. It's just that Controlled access roads in India, are called Expressways, so it is best to leave it there. Someone comes to look up expressways and doesn't see India, looks funny, especially when you have an article called Indian expressways. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 05:38, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That can't be helped, an expressway in India is access controlled, so hence they are listed in that article too. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 05:39, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Julia Jones (screen writer) has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. joe deckertalk to me 15:16, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Passenger Transport Citibus[edit]

I think there has been a bit of confusion with the Passenger Transport and Citibus merger. Invercargill Passenger Transport Ltd ("Passenger Transport") is still the name of the parent company, with PT Citibus (or Dunedin Passenger Transport as it is still widely known as) being the Dunedin division.

I'll switch the pages around so the article is under the name of the main parent company. Lcmortensen (mailbox) 13:04, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Aqueduct (bridge)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Aqueduct (bridge). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Aqueduct. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Aqueduct – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. TheLongTone (talk) 21:46, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nankai, I appreciate the work you've been doing to reorganize the Aqueduct articles, but you seem to have succeeded in eliminating the history of all the pages, with the result that none of the hardly fought consensus on the talk pages has survived.

Orphaned non-free media (File:HCT picket.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:HCT picket.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 19:51, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve 2010 Queenstown suppressed indecency case[edit]

Hi, I'm AlanS. Nankai, thanks for creating 2010 Queenstown suppressed indecency case!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Have their been other events like this? If so this could do with a name change and some expansion.

Proposed deletion of ManaBus.com[edit]

The article ManaBus.com has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A proposed service is not notable, and the weak sources indicate that it won't be notable when it is running

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 02:28, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A suggestion would be to merge the article into Highland Global Transport. If the firm becomes notable in its own right then an article might be appropriate. NealeFamily (talk) 23:53, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of ManaBus.com for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article ManaBus.com is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically User:Nankai/Manabus, may fail our non-free image policy. Non-free rationale for File:ManaBus.com logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:ManaBus.com logo.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. ManaBus[edit]

Thanks Mo for your edit on ManaBus.com. Perhaps deleting the South Island bit was in keeping with WP:CRYSTAL but did you know you also changed the bit where the article says ManaBus "plans to" add more routes back to "will" add more routes? Their plans are a quotable fact but anything could happen to prevent this plan not being carried out, so the word "will" is a clear breach of WP:CRYSTAL. Nankai (talk) 17:47, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Obviously anything planned to happen in the future may not occur. The Next New Zealand general election may not occur, but unless an earth shattering event occurs, it is almost certain it will. In terms of this article, and the services scheduled to be introduced in the next few weeks, ManaBus has announced they will commence and is selling tickets, so unless something dramatic happens, it is almost certain they will commence and thus meet the criteria of point 1 of the crystal ball policy. Big difference from stating that future services may commence, contingent on the success of the initial routes. Mo7838 (talk) 18:48, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Georgina Evers-Swindell requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:Fence3.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Fence3.jpg, which you've attributed to Orokonui Ecosanctuary. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 19:55, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Transport for the North requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.transportforthenorth.com/pdfs/NP/Overview-NP-Independent-Economic-Review.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A long time ago in a land far away (Lindau)[edit]

I see you created this article in 2007 and populated the infobox with the coordinates:

|lat_deg = 51 |lat_min = 40 |lat_sec = 57
|lon_deg = 10 |lon_min = 5 |lon_sec = 57

But these are the same coordinates given in the larger merged Katlenburg-Lindau: 51°40′57″N 10°5′57″E

Lindau was significant enough to have its own article (including because of the Max-Planck-Institut für Aeronomie). It seems to me that the coordinates in Lindau ought to be for the town of Lindau. These seem to be closer to: 51°39'17.3"N 10°07'26.7"E (I just chose a major intersection)

Can you think of a reason not to make the coordinates more specifically correct for the subject of the article? Would you know how to get the most correct coordinates for Lindau? Shenme (talk) 08:21, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree with changing the coordinates. Nankai (talk) 07:43, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:A Ravelled Flag.JPG[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:A Ravelled Flag.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Dalston bus garage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

All I can find about this former bus garage is a mention on a couple London transport fan sites and a picture in the London Transport Museum.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Railway Children (charity) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Railway Children (charity), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 15:54, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
