Bonsoir ;)

Bonne soirée, Comte0 (talk) 20:56, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Je viens de rajouter les catégories en cherchant sur les articles Hollywood blacklist et Klaus Fuchs et en fouillant un peu. Il y a certainement quelques autres trucs qui peuvent être améliorés dans ma traduction, je relirai ça plus tard. Amicalement, Comte0 (talk) 11:35, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Runaway Train poster[edit]

As the image is copyrighted, we are only able to use the image on the English Wikipedia through fair-use requirements for the non-free image. That is why the image is not uploaded to Commons for use on other Wikipedias. I'm not familiar with French copyright restrictions so you'll probably need to ask over there what the requirements are for uploading movie posters. If the French Wikipedia makes use of other movie posters for other films, then maybe you can just copy the formatting that is used for those posters. You'll need to save a copy of this one then and upload it over there. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 21:22, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

FrancEyE & Portugal[edit]

Your HighBeam account is ready![edit]

Good news! You now have access to 80 million articles in 6500 publications through HighBeam Research. Here's what you need to know:

  • Your account activation code has been emailed to your Wikipedia email address.
    • Only 407 of 444 codes were successfully delivered; most failed because email was simply not set up (You can set it in Special:Preferences).
    • If you did not receive a code but were on the approved list, add your name to this section and we'll try again.
  • The 1-year, free period begins when you enter the code.
  • To activate your account: 1) Go to http://www.highbeam.com/prof1; 2) You’ll see the first page of a two-page registration. 3) Put in an email address and set up a password. (Use a different email address if you signed up for a free trial previously); 4) Click “Continue” to reach the second page of registration; 5) Input your basic information; 6) Input the activation code; 7) Click “Finish”. Note that the activation codes are one-time use only and are case-sensitive.
  • If you need assistance, email "help at highbeam dot com", and include "HighBeam/Wikipedia" in the subject line. Or go to WP:HighBeam/Support, or ask User:Ocaasi. Please, per HighBeam's request, do not call the toll-free number for assistance with registration.
  • A quick reminder about using the account: 1) try it out; 2) provide original citation information, in addition to linking to a HighBeam article; 3) avoid bare links to non-free HighBeam pages; 4) note "(subscription required)" in the citation, where appropriate
  • HighBeam would love to hear feedback at WP:HighBeam/Experiences
  • Show off your HighBeam access by placing {{User:Ocaasi/highbeam_userbox}} on your userpage
  • When the 1-year period is up, check applications page to see if renewal is possible. We hope it will be.

Thanks for helping make Wikipedia better. Enjoy your research! Cheers, Ocaasi t | c 20:52, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I want to Participate in the WikiProject France/Paris[edit]

Hi, I'm new here and want to contribute to Wikipedia. I'm a bit lost as well but I noticed you were part of "Wikipedia:WikiProject France/Paris". I would love to help out in any Paris related articles as I can, particularly in taking photos in Paris for various Paris related articles that have missing pictures. I would love to join the "WikiProject France/Paris" but more importantly I want to learn everything I need to know...

I'm born and live in Paris by the way and I speak fluent French as well. Hope you can help me out through chat or something outside of wikipedia.org since I have difficulty navigating the website (for now).

Thank you!

Le ménage moderne du Madame Butterfly[edit]

The title of the film in question is Le ménage moderne du Madame Butterfly. Yes, it is misspelled. But that is the title of the film. It's clearly cited and footnoted in the article. Moving the page to correct the spelling is inappropriate without discussion on the article's Talk page. - Tim1965 (talk) 14:40, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Guadeloupean and Haitian deportees in Corsica, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs content and citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. John B123 (talk) 17:16, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

John B123, I'm not at all fluent in english. I need help from other english users who can translate from french into english. I can't write for the moment in english, I'm learning. But as a man who write History for many years, I say that the main sources are here especially Francis Arzalier who have fixed the Deportation during Napoleon' area, in the recent historiography of France. My article on french wp is not contested, some great historians are working on it. So, it will be more easy for the benefit of Wikipedia, that's this article will be in the Main. i can't do it alone in english. Thanks, Mike Coppolano (talk) 03:54, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Mike Coppolano, Guadeloupean anddans Haitian deportees in Corsica are men who have been deported in Corsica by Napoleon Bonaparte on year 1802 hardly qualifies as an article. It needs to have more content, the circumstances leading up to the deportation, the reasons why they were deported etc. as the French article does. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 08:49, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
