November 2017[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Martina Big has been reverted.
Your edit here to Martina Big was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/c/MartinaBig/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:33, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jim1138. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Martina Big— because it did not appear constructive. Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did with this edit to Martina Big. Thank you. Jim1138 talk 08:05, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

January 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Yoshi24517. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Martina Big, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Yoshi24517 Chat Online 20:06, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Yoshi24517, I just wrote that Big changed her appearance from a caucasian woman to a black woman. This is not only proven by this source, but by many other sources and before and after pictures by Martina Big. Please enter the search term "Martina Big" in Google and you will see it. Michaelbig (talk) 21:22, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Martina Big, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Yoshi24517 Chat Online 20:08, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Michaelbig. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Martina Big, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Generalrelative (talk) 20:09, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Martina Big, you may be blocked from editing. Yoshi24517 Chat Online 20:10, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Martina Big. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Generalrelative (talk) 20:17, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Generalrelative (talk) 20:38, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. And didn't want to start an editing war. I don't want to advertise, I don't get paid for the changes and I have no personal relationship with Martina Big. I have been following Martina Big's story for a long time and have only tried to improve the text. I read the warnings in the user interview too late. I wasn't aware that I was breaking any rules. In the future I will follow the Wikipedia rules. I ask you to unblock me. Michaelbig (talk) 22:39, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

sigh ... For five years or so her article was the only one you edited. And always disruptively. Obviously you've been following her story for a long time ... in fact I'd say you've been doing more than that, you've been trying to run up to the front and lead it. I actually feel relieved for her you have no personal relationship with her. But that time was far more than enough for you to have read the "user interview" ... competence is, as we say, required. Because if you had you would know that whether you wanted to start getting into an edit war is immaterial to whether you got into one or not. And since you had ... in the last day you violated 3RR more than enough that, if the block had been up to me as long as it was definite, you would be blocked for far longer than you have already been.

Beyond that, you've been at this so long that I think you need far more time than you have had so far to reflect on your actions and come across as truly meaning your words of regret. Right now you just come across as "I'm sorry, I didn't think you meant it all those times when you said you would block me." ... well, TBH, this should have come way sooner than it did. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:37, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
