Hello MER-C, If I'm correct you added the UPE tag here and I think a paid editor is now trying to delete it (probably first as 194.230.146.178, then - after adding it back - as Superboilles). Indefinitely blocked user emailed me
Hello, MER-C:
User:Taniatos emailed me via my wiki-preferences, signing herself Tetiana, while requesting an unblock. Knowing nothing, I checked User:Taniatos' contributions and saw only that the contributions are sporadic but intense, suggesting automated workbench operation, with a day job or a poor communications setup. There appears to be no hobby-oriented or other motivation for edits, to me. Because I prefer communicating via Wikipedia I am hitting your talk page. I do not know if other admins are being canvassed.
If at some time you decide to clear Tetiana/User:Taniatos you are free to declare that to me, and I could unblock T if you like. I can understand if you do not want to communicate directly with T.

Hello, I attempted to address your concerns about the page Audrey Barcio by establishing notability and editing text to achieve a neutral voice. Would you mind letting me know if I succeeded, and/or what else is needed to repair the page? I did not create the page, as you can already see, but I am related to Audrey Barcio. This of course is not the same as being paid, but I am also very concerned that I do not show any favoritism and that I avoid any conflicts of interest. If anything I included isn't relevant, isn't notable, or is hyperbolic, please let me know. Help with copyright cleanup template
Hi there! I'm messaging you because I need help with Template:Copyvio-revdel, and I noticed that you're a part of the copyright cleanup project. I must confess that I'm finding the template a little complicated to use. Over at Markazu Saqafathi Sunniyya, I removed a persistent copyvio which has been inserted into that article on-and-off for about eight years; check Talk:Markazu_Saqafathi_Sunniyya#Another_copy-paste_violation (today) and Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive798#User:Msoamu (2013) for details. I removed the text again per WP:DCV, but I'm finding the template quite challening. The same copyvio as the 2013 text was re-inserted, almost verbatim, a few days ago. MER-C, the edits at Qamaruzzaman Azmi were one month old and warning was given in the context of those edits yesterday only and the para was not verbatim copy but conclusion of a particular event in own words. The edits at 'Abd al-Haqq al-Dehlawi just few words from the source were taken which are essential to give the information about that scholar. I know there are mistakes. - Copyright violations are a habit which I am seeing in your contribution history. It is not stalking to review past edits for copyvios once there is grounds to do so; we have an entire noticeboard for doing exactly that. This needs to stop, now, permanently, otherwise I have no choice but to block you and start an investigation into your entire contribution history. Wikipedia treats copyright violations seriously, and I know from bitter experience that blocking sooner is better than warning and blocking later. MER-C 17:07, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

I understand that everybody makes mistakes, but you didn't put any sort of notes on Talk:Ziaul Mustafa Razvi Qadri explaining that it was a mistake, nor did you note in the edit summary that you were amending a copyvio, plus you actually created the entire article based on a seven year old Facebook post. There's legitimate reason for me to look through your edits.

Help with a spam clean up of the page
Hey MER-C, I wanted your help and ask if you may have a look at the page Geliyoo. After the page being vandalized for advertisement purposes, I recently nominated it for deletion, it was full with spam links, still is. Before further action, considering WP:WPSPAM, what do you suggest should be done? I think the page should be deleted as it's frequently edited for promotional purposes. Cross-wiki coordination against UPE
Hi MER-C,
I don't think we met (online) before. I work on fr-wp, with several other Wikipedians from the fr:Projet:Antipub against UPE and more broadly promotion. With another sysop, we published an investigation on some UPE cases last year; you did handle it on the en-wp side (thanks!).
You're opinion about an idea I submitted on user:Blablubbs talkpage (regarding cross-wiki coordination against UPE and promotion) is welcome.

Tyler MacDuff
Hi,
I noticed that Tyler MacDuff, Tyler McDuff did not have a Wikipedia page. As he has quite a few appearances in various TV shows.
I did not realize why until I went to Create a page for the actor.
What was the reason you deleted the page?
I beleive it was for copyright infringement.
I would like to reinstate/recreate his page, as he has quite a history of Big screen and little screen appearances, into Wikipedia.
I am but a novice at this editing thing, so any feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Hey MC, just as a heads up I am going to take to WP:DRV the Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2020 October 8#Category:American_propagandists discussion, where Category:American propagandists was deleted, since I think the original nom. was flawed by ignoring Category:Italian propagandists, Category:German propagandists, etc. (as well as it being a minimally attended CfD discussion). Unless you suggest a different route for the more comprehensive discussion? Perhaps restore and immediately relist? Note it has already been recreated and speedy deleted since, and currently has a bunch of articles sitting in it as a WP:REDNOT. Not sure if you were the one who deleted Chi Beta Phi for copyvio, but I've restarted it, mostly pulling the information from my copy of Baird's Manual of American College Fraternity (1991 edition). Hi! Hem Raj BC was deleted last year because the paid editor who created it refused to use WP:AFC or adhere to WP:NPOV and WP:RS. I recently found another UPE editor (stale) who created and edited related articles, before the stuff with the main article last year, Special:Contributions/Jimmysmithandrew. Aashirman DS Joshi and Raveena Desraj Shrestha, both very UPE-esque were the only things Jimmy did outside of the Hem Raj BC topics.
Now, we have got a new SPA, Souliam trying to get Draft:Hem Raj BC through AFC. An admin says at Wikipedia:Requests_for_undeletion/Archive_366#Hem_Raj_BC that the draft matches previously deleted content. However this editor has not declared paid, and instead tries to solicit help from others, claiming to be a fan of BC[7], and completely new to Wikipedia[8][9]. They removed my comment from the draft when resubmitting[10]. Then they created the article with a typo[11], and tried to get the correct title unsalted using the typo as the excuse[12][13]. In all, I think this editor is just the latest incarnation of deceptive UPE in this topic area, and I was wondering if this is enough for admin action on individual discretion. Regards!
