explanation

I am not an admin, so I do not make threats--I will not block you myself. But you have to understand that in regard to statements about living people--who deserve to be treated no worse than our friends or relatives, or strangers on the street for that matter--the same very high standards apply on any wikipedia page, whether it's an article or a talk page or the ref desk or wherever. I assume you do understand that what you did was found problematic enough by a neutral admin when it was reported that they erased its history from that page. So my pointing you to the warning is for your own benefit, assuming you don't want to face a block for a similar issue in the future. I realize the red warning sign looks very hostile, but the point is only to draw your attention to a serious matter. I have no desire to get you in trouble. Senkaku Islands dispute

War seems unlikely, to me. Probably China won't attack. If they did, I doubt if either Japan or the US would fight back militarily, instead placing embargoes on Chinese goods. I imagine the EU and many other nations would join in. Since the Chinese economy is completely dependent on exports, they would relent eventually and return the islands to Japan. In the meantime, much of the rest of East Asia would have booming economies, as cheap goods now made in China would instead be made in Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, etc. StuRat (talk) 23:07, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Incidentally, there is a precedent for this. Prior to WW2, Japan was invading and annexing Asian lands right and left (see Rape of Nanking, for example). This led to the US and many other nations placing a crippling embargo on Japan. Japan would have been forced to relent, and return those lands. The only other option was to declare war on a good portion of the world, a war they were certain to lose, based on relative industrial capacities, etc. While Japan made the irrational choice for war, the rulers in China seem far more rational than the generals running Japan at the time were, and the Chinese can't rely on Hitler distracting the world from Asia, either. Maybe you would like to respond to Shadowjams and IP98's further comments here? How do you suggest we address these issues? Are you familiar with WP:ANI? That's where we would go for you to complain if you think I am picking on you. Apologizing repeatedly, asking if people forgive you, creating new threads expressing the importance of honor, and then discussing suicide in the context of honor strikes me a very dishonorable. Honor is being honest and keeping your word, not apologizing and reverting to the behavior for which you have apologized and then brining up the topic of suicide. That sort of talk gets a reference to the wikpedia board for emergency action. We can help you if you need it.
