November 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Without You (Avicii song), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Hayman30 (talk) 08:34, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article TIX has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Cahk (talk) 09:16, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article TIX has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lack of sources confirming a pass of WP:NMUSIC

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of TIX for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article TIX is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TIX until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 23:51, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ingrosso[edit]

Please stop moving Sebastian Ingrosso multiple times as he is best known by this name. Just because he started using his mononym as a stage name doesn't mean the article must be moved too. Use WP:RM#CM to start a discussion if you think it should be moved, not unilaterally do it yourself without consensus. — Zawl 11:09, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I think that this article should be named after his stage name, not his birth name. Please let this article alone, and don’t start an edit war against me. I don’t want to do this. His stage name is "Ingrosso", and you’ll have to accept that. Karamellpudding1999 (talk) 11:52, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Your opinion alone is not enough, consensus is needed for the move to be done. It's you who's edit warring while I'm trying to restore status quo. This is a controversial move and a discussion should be done before moving the page. I requested for the move to be reverted, if you try to move the page again without discussion then you risk getting blocked for disruptive behavior. — Zawl 12:03, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ingrosso (Swdish DJ) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Zawl 16:28, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing templates[edit]

Hi Karamellpudding1999, Greetings. Pls note that your creation of Dreamer (Axwell & Ingrosso song) has been moved to Draft:Dreamer (Axwell & Ingrosso song). Content added/edited in Wikipedia needs "inline citation" from independent (third party / secondary / tertiary) reliable source (in any language) for verification to gauge the nobility criteria is met. The articles's inline citation is the WP:BURDEN which it is on the person adding the information. Please note official website, records of sport events or individual player records are consider primary source and not independent source, and social network source such as facebook, twitter, instagram, imbd and etc are considered NOT reliable source and can not be used for citing. Independent reliable source are sources are those obtain from major newspaper, such as The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, CNN news and etc. or source obtain from major publisher of the work (for example, Random House or Cambridge University Press). Pls see

  1. reliable source - see WP:RS
  2. primary vs secondary vs tiartiary source - see WP:WPNOTRS
  3. verification - see WP:V
  4. notability - see WP:N
  5. webcite - see WP:CITEWEB and its template -see Template: cite web

Once you have provided inline citations, you could move back the page to "article" to resubmit. Lastly, I strongly encourage you to visit WP:The Wikipedia Adventure for there some short and fun exercises on neutrality, verifiability, collaboration, research and sourcing. Thank you. Lullaby[edit]

Please stop recreating the page. The song fails WP:NSONGS and thus does not warrant its own article. Charting in two or three countries doesn't make it notable. Hayman30 (talk) 08:45, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I think you’re misunderstanding. This song is a big success and is charting in a lot of countries, but I was too lazy to put all countries in the charting table. Since you’re working on music articles, you could add more countries to the table. I will now revert your deletion, and you could help me expanding the charting table. Karamellpudding1999 (talk) 10:01, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Please keep the conversation on your talk page, there's no need to paste the exact same message on my talk page. There's no misunderstanding—you can call it an enormous success, but it just isn't, it merely charted in two countries. I also failed to find any articles about it online. Please read WP:NSONGS, and don't make any further reverts until a consensus is reached. Hayman30 (talk) 10:29, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please stop reverting everything I edit?! It's so annoying! And I want to show you something: this! It's an article about a song that you've created, and is there any charting table here? The answer is no. Is this song a big success in many countries? Prove it, or else I have the right to recreate the Lullaby article, thank you! Karamellpudding1999 (talk) 10:49, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No one is forcing you to be here. Don't go through my article creations and quote instances of a song being unnotable just to back yourself up. Charting is neither the only or a major determining factor. I can tell that at this point you still haven't read WP;NSONGS, because it explicitly states that significant coverage by reliable sources is the key factor in establishing notability. Hayman30 (talk)
Ok, then. Can you please create an article about an eurodance song that was a big success worldwide in 2018? Please show me how I do it. Karamellpudding1999 (talk) 11:01, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Why would I do that? You don't create an article to teach people how do it, I don't see a reason behind this request. Hayman30 (talk) 11:05, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Are other music interested users like Zawl agree with your revertions? Karamellpudding1999 (talk) 11:12, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at One Kiss (song) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hello, Karamellpudding1999. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Dreamer".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Onel5969 TT me 11:55, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You really have to stop revert warring, and instead discuss your suggested changes on the article's talk page. Before you do that, please re-read Wikipedia:Notability (music)#Songs to understand exactly what is required. Your editing history shows a lot of frustration, which is probably because you have a tendency to just revert other editors' changes, instead of using article talk pages to discuss. Remember that Wikipedia is a collaborative project, which works by consensus (generally something we Scandinavians are pretty good at :-) ) --bonadea contributions talk 12:21, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have closed your misguided nomination of Physical (Dua Lipa song) for deletion. It only takes a five-second look at the article to see that it is notable, and so the most charitable assumption is that you did not read it at all. That impression is strengthened by your nomination statement, which only talked about finding the Wikipedia article on Google – that's completely irrelevant to notability. --bonadea contributions talk 11:35, 6 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Ennealogy[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Ennealogy. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of feature film series with nine entries. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of feature film series with nine entries. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Bbb23 (talk) 14:12, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Men in Black: International. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Explicit song genre[edit]

Hi, thanks for your edits on Maybe You're the Problem. I've added and expanded on all the sources into each appropriate section. When adding song genres across articles, please ensure that the citation directly links the genre to the song per WP:EXPLICITGENRE, instead of using ambiguous sentences. The guideline provides these example sentences as a foundation, so please read it to understand the variations of sentences used in these citations. Thanks again for your edits on the article. I see that you mean that Ava Max's song Maybe You're the Problem is not an eurodance song, but only have influences from eurodance. I don't think that's right. I think that elrescatemusical.com is considering the song as an eurodance song. The line Muchas personas, no solo fans, sino otros medios musicales influyentes, consideran que Ava Marx ha conseguido con Maybe you’re the problem rescatar el sonido Eurodance que recuerda a Christina Aguilera o The Weekend is translated to English as Many people, not only fans, but also other influential music media, consider that with Maybe you're the problem Ava Marx has managed to rescue the Eurodance sound reminiscent of Christina Aguilera or The Weekend by Google, which means that the song is an eurodance song, not only have eurodance influences. Maybe I'm misunderstanding because of a bad Google translation... I'm from Norway and don't understand Spanish. Karamellpudding1999 (talk) 23:41, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Although the sentence is what appears on the website, the genre can't be directly stated to the song unless there's a sentence such as "____ is a Eurodance song", which is given on WP:EXPLICITGENRE. The phrase "consider that with Maybe you're the problem Ava Marx has managed to rescue the Eurodance sound" only suggests a connection to the genre, which is considered WP:SYNTH and shouldn't be used as a genre unless directly stated by another source. I also don't understand Spanish, but maybe someone from WP:TRLA would be able to properly translate it if you want to seek another opinion. In the future, can you use the WP:PING template such as "{{ping|UserName}}" to notify me on this talk page instead of responding on several talk pages? It's easier to keep track of discussions.
