Your addition of Indonesia as operator on multiple articles about aircraft and helicopters

Hello. Please stop adding Indonesia as operator unless you can also provide solid sources that say so. The source you provided for Indonesia being an operator of the Eurofighter Typhoon is just a local news outlet speculating in a future Indonesian order, which is very far from Indonesia being an operator. And the source you provided for Indonesia being an operator of the UH-60 and CH-47 only says that the Indonesian Army is interested in aquiring those types, which again is very far from Indonesia being an operator. Which is why your edits have been reverted. When there is solid proof for firm orders you can add Indonesia as a buyer, and then when the first of each type have been delivered to Indonesia you can add Indonesia as an operator. Your edits in ISIS

Thanks for starting the useful infobox with the flags. There is no need to put the full URLs in when you do the references - just take the first part of the wikitext from the reference in the Lead and use that, with a slight adjustment. For example, the US has there <ref name = "US proscribed">. You adjust it to <ref name = "US proscribed"/> (i.e. add the slash /) and put that in the "References" box. The footnote will then have the same number as the first footnote in the Lead. Hope that is clear! I can't do flags, so it would be good if you could do the rest, and if you get stuck on the references, leave me a note on my Talk page and I will put them in. --P123ct1 (talk) 12:51, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

March Madness 2017

G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:

• tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
• updating the project's currently listed A-class articles to ensure their ongoing compliance with the listed criteria
• creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various task force pages or other lists of missing articles.

As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.

The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.

The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.

"Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. April 2018 Milhist Backlog Drive

G'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:

• tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
• adding or improving listed resources on Milhist's task force pages
• updating the open tasks template on Milhist's task force pages
• creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various lists of missing articles.

As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.

The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.

The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.
