Introduction to contentious topics[edit]
You have recently edited a page related to the Horn of Africa (defined as including Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, and adjoining areas if involved in related disputes), a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. Edit warring[edit]
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Let us build concensus[edit]
Let's go back to before. You stop editing the Awdal page and you keep the Habr Awal page the way you see fit. Let us avoid getting arbitration involved. If this is ok, then I will delete the discussion. Let me know your thoughts. We wont agree so let us reverse all edits which i agreed to on the Habr Awal page.

- Why should sourced content be deleted because its not to your liking. Both content on both pages is the same. It wont make sense to keep one and delete one as its the same content. You do not get to pick and choose Hawkers994 (talk) 15:04, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
- Because there is no issue with the source. The source is absolutely fine. The issue is that the source isn't saying what you are reflecting in the content? Do you understand where the problem is? I don't think youve understood the crux of the dispute. Its not the source.

- dispite engagement in talk user Abdihakimper refuses to discuss any of this as evident from his talk page User talk:Abdihakimper i was adding back the sourced content and him been blocked more than numerous times just for removing content without discussion or engagement. - There has been nothing on the talk page of the article about this. Based on their history and total lack of communication I've indefinitely blocked them from the article. What needs to happen now is discussion on the talk page. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 22:54, 18 December 2023 (UTC)

The RFC discussion came to a natural end. Given that non-biased commentators in the discussion who are not affiliated with the Somaliland project all agreed the source was dubious, I have proceeded to remove it. You should not revert edits without good reason, if you wish to understand my point in further detail please refer to comments in the talk page.
