Information icon Hello, I'm Jmertel23. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Islam in Monaco, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. An article you recently created, 2023 Bangladeshi general election, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:2023 Bangladeshi general election, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:28, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, GucciNuzayer. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2023 Bangladeshi general election".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 04:51, 8 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your question about my reverting your change to San Juan, Puerto Rico[edit]

In most cases, there is no need to obfuscate the reader with the political relationship of the United States and Puerto Rico. In addition, information in the infobox "summarizes key features of the page's subject";[1] thus, if the subject of the article is, say, a municipality, the infobox should not have facts that allude to the political relationship between the United States and Puerto Rico.[2][3][4]

An official definition of what constitutes the United States can be found on the USGS site, on this USGS page.

In addition, the CIA World Factbook, a US Government publication, under the Geography section of the United States, gives the area of the United States and notes that it includes "no overseas territories":
Area

total: 9,833,517 sq km
land: 9,147,593 sq km
water: 685,924 sq km

"note: includes only the 50 states and District of Columbia, no overseas territories" (the emphasis is ours)[5]

The US Social Security Administration defines Puerto Rico as being outside of the United States as well.[6]

For these reasons above, and other reasons argued in numerous Wikipedia discussions throughout years, the Infobox of Puerto Rico-related articles should not include "United States" (or "US") in it. (Note: The Wikipedia article List of sovereign states accurately details what "the United States" is, and we encourage editors to use it as a guide whenever a question raises over the topic of "Is Puerto Rico part of the United States?")

This text is found and copied from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Puerto_Rico/Standards and if you were to notice my edit summary in the revert, I pointed (you) to WP:PRUS. Good day. --The Eloquent Peasant (talk) 14:32, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Flags in infoboxes[edit]

Please refrain from adding flags into infoboxes. This is in contravention of MOS:INFOBOXFLAG and is unnecessarily distracting and not desired. Thank you. Canterbury Tail talk 22:15, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Bethlehem, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See MOS:INFOBOXFLAG Donald Albury 14:24, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Ken Tony Peter. I noticed that you recently removed content from All India Trinamool Congress without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Copying within Wikipedia[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Chief Justice of Bangladesh into Judiciary of Bangladesh. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 20:16, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

While I have copied from another page of Wikipedia, It seems the original writer in turn copied from another website, Banglapedia. I did do a very small change, however. But yes, I will try to do what you have said from now on. GucciNuzayer (talk) 20:19, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

August 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Jklamo (talk) 14:40, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am very sorry for not writing edit summaries. I'll give edit summaries from now on. Thanks for leaving this message. GucciNuzayer (talk) 16:18, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Abraham Lincoln, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page American. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Peaceray. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on List of LGBT YouTubers, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. WP:USERGENERATED content is not consider a reliable source.
