Rollback granted

SounderBruce is one of our most experienced Wikipedians when it comes to writing articles about cities and so there will no doubt be a lot of great things to learn about how GA works in that GAR. One tip, besides reading the official guide and the well put together essays some editors have written (1, 2) which you might have already done, is to find some recent GAs that are similar and compare how the article stacks up against them. I did this a lot when I was starting - I got to read some really good articles as a bonus - and still will do it when I'm reviewing a subject area I'm not as familiar with. Sometimes I'll even look to featured articles knowing that I then have to scale down the expectations. I hope that's helpful for you and you continue to enjoy your time editing. Well sure you didn't add it in the first place, though of course by restoring it after it'd been contested you took responsibility for it, so, a bit moot there. Good job on finding the better sources in the bill of rights article. If I could offer a little constructive advice, maybe next time find reliable sources for the material first and restore it second? I don't know, perhaps I'm just not that constructive. As you mentioned in your edit summary, maybe it's because I'm incapable of reading? Or, as you said about the other user involved, perhaps it's that I need to be spoon-fed? I admire your desire to improve the reliability of Wikipedia. I do not admire your attitude while doing so.

If I could offer you a little constructive advice, maybe next time find reliable sources for the material first and then you don't have to remove it at all.

Nivomat merge

I see your comment and that the subsequent merge has occurred. I think that the methodology used is a departure from other things such as 'Kleenex' for example and all of those items should be reviewed in that light. Nivomat is not just a tradename for some automotive product, it is a generational improvement for this type of automotive suspension, and specifically for load-leveling. It is prevalent in the industry and spectacularly efficient. Yet it receives a single paragraph now as compared to something as earth shattering as a facial tissue.

I just find that kind of odd. I had never heard of Nivomat until I located a reference to it on a trade blog of some sort. Upon looking into it, it appears that the wiki is going to some trouble to minimize its notoriety? Suggest another reason for the full blown page on for example Kleenex and the paragraph on Nivomat. I would like to hear it.

By all means, share this criticism with the other authors, the difference in treatment is quite astounding. Is there any effort to make pages more standardized in content and content level? Based on what I have read, the Nivomat system is very definitely on par with the likes of things such as Kleenex. Jaydubyah43, I really have no automotive expertise, so my nomination wasn't based on that. I just didn't see sufficient coverage in reliable sources, which is Wikipedia's standard for notability. It seems other editors agreed. There's no effort 'minimize the notoriety' of Nivomat - the content has not been deleted, just moved. Anyone searching for 'Nivomat' will be redirected. The edit-a-thon is part of Sure We Can's work with NYC Health + Hospitals to stop the spread of Covid-19. We plan to continue to work on translating the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City article into the many languages spoken in New York City; as well as, work on other ideas about how information on wikipedia could slow the spread of Covid-19. You don't understand how the legislative process works, the minimum wage icnrease would've been added to the whole bill itself, not as an amendment which it was turned into and the vote you reference as a reason for your deletion. CaliIndie, fair enough, it's a complicated area, so you may well be right. In any case, I'd expect that before long other editors will also offer opinions on the phrasing/inclusion of sentences to that effect if they remain in the article. A discussion has been opened at the talk page of Joe Biden on it, again, another editor has conflated the vote on the minimum wage amendment with the minimum wage blocked by the parliamentarian.
