License tagging for Image:085340 9d851ef8.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:085340 9d851ef8.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:04, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

I am planning an article about Dubh Artach which I hope to finish a first draft of today. It would be great to have a picture of the lighthouse. Can you advise? Thanks. Ben MacDui 12:51, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the {{reqphotoin|Scotland} tip. It's a long way to sail just for a snap, but you never know! Ben MacDui 13:51, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for adding the co-ordinates. I have just posted a note at Talk:Dubh Artach about them re a minor discrepancy I have unearthed. Ben MacDui 16:27, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
"it would be great if someone knows the source of the painting used as this bookcover." This is intriguing. I don't think the book itself is listed in his Wikipedia bibliography. It would be a coup to be able to source the picture. I will investigate! Ben MacDui 22:46, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Reversion

Hi. This was an acceptable edit with a very poor edit summary. Better to not use quasi-rollback for anything barring vandalism, it's a bit rough on the newbies. Your following edit was the better way to handle it. Thanks! - 152.91.9.144 07:30, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

I strongly disagree, the page had been corrupted by a bad edit which amounts to vandalism, there was not simply a citation missing (See [1] , note citation for previous entry had been moved and badly formatted). I reverted this using the tool Wikipedia:Tools/Navigation_popups which provided a summary stating how the revert was made and which version the revert took place to. I expect will we agree to disagree on this one. GameKeeper 07:41, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Hello GameKeeper. I saw your comment on User talk:Anwar saadat in which you said "Hi I noticed your name being involved in the original case of User:Prin being banned. I think User:Prince Godfather is another reincarnation of Prin. I asked him here and he denies this User_talk:Prince_Godfather#Please_do_not_blank_talk_page_entries. User:Prince Godfather was User:Thamizhan which may exlpain the unusual welcome message above. All my evidence is circumstantial; similarity of user names, habit of uploading copy violating material the fact that his user page is very similar to one of the former sockpuppets, see [2], pages edited are similar. I don't know what the correct course of action is, so I thought this would be the best place to report this, if only for your awareness."

I would also like to point out the similarities between them. For example, User:Prince Godfather adores the actor R. Madhavan and you wont believe this but User:Prin has a sockpuppet by the name of User:R.Madhavan. Don't you find this a tad bit suspicious? Oh, and also note that after you quizzed User:Prince Godfather about whether or not he was User:Prin, he immediately changed the details on his user page which he previously left his name as "Prin alias Prince Godfather" to "Prince Godfather". Okay, here's the proof. You left him the message at 22:00 [3] and he changed his nickname at 22:08 [4] and replied you two minutes later. Hmmm, ya dont say. Anyway, just leaving my comments... -- Visual planet 03:24, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
I agree it is suspicous which is why I asked User:Prince Godfather if he was prin, however he has now denied it and although I am still suspicious I am going to assume good faith. There is no proof , all evidence is circumstantial. Either he is not prin, or he is. Now he has been warned that his ID looks like Prins maybe he will avoid the activities that got Prin banned. GameKeeper 07:44, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I know. I kinda felt bad when I told you that because I guess he hasn't done anything wrong and well, at least he is contributing to Wikipedia in a good way. Haha. But it kinda annoys me when he thinks he has seniority over everyone else because he's had more edits or because of the fact that he has an userpage and I dont. Btw, he told me that. -- Visual planet 15:04, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
I did see him say that. I find the idea that any edits are superior due to seniority is laughable. Just let it pass and have a chuckle ;-). GameKeeper 19:15, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Dubh Artach

Re your helpful suggestion about a possible image at the Silverado Museum [5] I have discovered that the booklet is unavailable in the UK and maybe out of print. However the Northern Lighthouse Board confirm that the artist is Sam Bough and that the painting is in a private collection. According to an occasionally reliable source this Scottish painter died in 1878. I am not up-to-speed on art copyright issues and wonder if you can advise? Ben MacDui (Talk) 20:18, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the note; no, the removal of your {{fact}} tag wasn't intentional. Vandal

User:Prince Godfather has created well over a dozen articles about Filmfare Awards South without giving any sources at all. I tried to tag one of the articles like this but he reverted them calling me a vandal.

Also, I think you are right. He may be the sock puppet of User:Prin after all. Plus I suspect he has a new set of puppets now like User:Alwar who vandalised my page [7], User:Lord Lubbuka Das who keeps giving away awards for free [8], User:Pokkiri who uploads pics with fake copyright tags [9], User:Hariharan91 and User:71.200.53.153 who adds links to his website. [10]

All the above activities are trademarks of user:Prin who is in his early teens and live in London. Plus he has begun redirecting articles haphazardly like this where Saravanan Sivakumar is the real name and Surya Sivakumar is the screen name of a actor. Curiously he creates pages for films even before release like Untitled Madhavan/Ram Gopal Varma project. In several cases, the nomenclatures are misleading. For example, Jd-Jerry refers to the pair of brothers JD and Jerry. He redirected the article to J. D. Jerry as if its one director. But the worst offence is probably this: Anjala_Zhaveri, the actress points to Anjala conspiracy. Its difficult to really revert all his redirects. Please take urgent action.

Phew! Anwar 20:04, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

The best way to handle something like this is to follow the process in Wikipedia:Resolving disputes. In particular try Talk to the other parties involved i.e. User:Prince Godfather. Then if that does not work, take it to the next level. GameKeeper 20:52, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Excuse me, sorry to talk without permission on your user talk page Mr Game keeper, but I deny all the facts that User:Anwar_saadat has been claiming. Here is a small list of talk backs to Mr Saadat:
  • My Responses
  • Filmfare Awards South is an article I created as requested by the WikiIndian Cinema Project. I typed up all the information from a magazine called, Kumudham, who officially sponsor the event. Links can also be found in places like [11], so is there anything wrong with my information I posted!
  • No, I am not a vandalist account unlike him and I repeat, I do not have any sockpuuppets unlike Anwar saadat, as we know, he is a hater of Vijay and a lover of Ajith Kumar. As shown here hating Vijay [12](This example is breaking all sorts of Wiki law's- very rudely written!) [13] [14] [15]. And here loving Ajith [16] [17]
  • No, I am not a runner of sockpuppets, if I was, which I am not, how can I possibly have edit wars with myself or edit at the same time on different articles! Think Mr Saadat before you speak, you've been in enough trouble for sockpuppetry. It says that Hariharan91 lives I Malaysia and was born in 1991. I am far far older than that and I live in London. Redirectly wrongly, this rule was followed by articles such as Madonna (entertainer) which link to that not Madonna Richie. Surya is unknown as Saravanan! Like Rajanikanth is unknown as Shivaji Rao Gaekwad! Common Sense please!
  • We all know Anwar's extremist views. These are some of his messages on pages with translatons Don't exaggerate, padam nalla kaathu vaangudhu - Don't Exaggerate, the film is getting beaten up at the box-office, Dei lavadaikkabaal Sootha moodittu utkaaru - This is an offensive line with swearing, avan padam ellame gujili padam thaan - his films are cow shit, and only god knows how much more rude things he has said, found at [19]. Not to mention, the huge block of things he has deleted from his user talk to get a good name, [20]. How embarassing!

I once again apoligise. Mr Gamekeeper for the actions of Anwar and my urgency to post a message here. Please take urgent action.

Phew! Prince Godfather 21:18, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

You said: "User:Prince Godfather is back again, now editing as an IP User:81.129.181.25 I have filed a report Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Prince Godfather (2nd), I have already unpicked one of his/her edits to R Madhavan as it qualified as vandalism even if this is not another sock. I am amazed by you diligance in defending wikipedia. If I can make your job any easy when reporting these things do not hesitate to say how."

He's not the most annoying vandal, that'd be Verdict (talk · contribs) which has so far created over 70 abusive sockpuppets. But thinks for reporting this one to me. I've blocked the address. --Yamla 22:24, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Oaks.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Oaks.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:55, 8 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —xyzzyn 16:55, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the immediate reply. Although you reporeted me for sockpuppetry, you say that sockpuppetry is to kick out vandalism. But I've done nothing associated with vandalists and kicked some out myself and if please comment about my activities on the Madhavan page... Universal Hero 11:29, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Sockpuppetry itself can be a form of vandalism . The copyright fraud you committed is also vandalism, and it appears to be intentional rather than through ignorance or accident which makes it more serious. If you have committed any other acts of copyright violation can you rectify them quickly. GameKeeper 11:48, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Another editor called User:AVTN and retired from Wikipedia informed me to post that photo and told me he took a photo. So I uploaded it up for him and told him to modify it so it says the rightful photographer took the photo. Your evidence, clearly shows he was lying and I'm in trouble for it... Universal Hero 11:50, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
This is an implausible story, 1) User:AVTN can clearly upload images without help and is able to tag them with the correct copyright information. 2) You said you had taken the picture which you are now say is not true. You have clearly committed copyright fraud. GameKeeper 08:32, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
This was actually done by him on my account at my property.......that is not copyright. Universal Hero 12:21, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
I have asked User:AVTN to comment GameKeeper 22:02, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
I removed my real name from UH's comment. I don't remember requesting UH to upload an image (although I could be wrong since lots of things have happened lately to me), but I did edit one of the images on the Sivaji (film) article to remove whitespace. I have some trust in Universal Hero, so if I could see the image I could tell you whether it was mine or not. I don't see any evidence, so if someone could point me towards it then I could comment more helpfully. If it is my fault then I will take total blame for it. AVTN 09:09, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
I have yet to meet UH in real life. So I was not the one who uploaded it using his ID, I have been away on holiday since the 20th of July to the 14th of August in which I had limited internet access (I could only access the net 5 times in total) and they were slow speeds, also this was in the time of my retirement. If you need any other help please ask, I will reply within 24 hours. And sorry UH, maybe someone fooled you saying they were me? AVTN 19:10, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Kiev vs Kyiv

Yes, Kiev is the name of the town, but Dynamo Kyiv is the name of the football club. This is not a case of geographical naming conventions, but a case of football club naming conventions. - PeeJay 20:25, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

OK, I understand that. But having looked at the article, Kiev, it seems to me that the name "Kiev" comes from an outdated transliteration of the Russian name for the city, "Kiyev". The transliteration from the Ukrainian name for the city, "Kyyiv", is the one that should be used. But then I guess that's a topic of debate for Talk:Kiev, right? - PeeJay 20:34, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Cucumber

Seeing your note in English cuisine, I have been trying to find some acurate refs for the cucumber but have not got anything that ties it into Roman introduction.... from Innvista.com - "The first record of the cucumber came from Mesopotamia around 2000 BC. The Romans, in the 1st century, cultivated them in baskets or raised beds mounted on wheels so they could be moved around as the sun moved. The cucumber did not reach Europe until the Middle Ages, and was first cultivated in greenhouses in 19th century England". Seems to contradict itself unless it means the Romans cultivated them outside of Europe in one of their occupied countries. I found a mention in my records of the Bodleian Library manuscripts - In medieval period manuscripts, you can find the cucumber mentioned in an herbal by Apuleis (MS Ashmole 1431), assumed to be written between 1070 and 1100, and in a book on medieval cooking I found "Charlemagne had cucumbers grown in his gardens in 9th-century France. They were known in England at around the same time, but the art of growing them was apparently lost as a result of a long period of wars and turmoil. Cucumbers were reintroduced into England from the Continent some 250 years later". So I think you are right that the introduction in Roman times is incorrect. Help on Ivybridge Community College

The Elfoid has said that the emblem used on Ivybridge Community College "has to go". I don't know very much on the legality and wikipedia's policies on images, but do you know much about it? The article could really do with an emblem... Bsrboy (talk) 16:53, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi I can see Elfoid's point. It is either
1) the correct emblem of "Ivybridge Community College" in which case you cannot own the copyright to give it to the public domain,
2) its a made up emblem and therefore WP:Original Research.
Ifs it is 2) then it does have to go,
If it is 1) you will need to provide a reference and the copyright status will have to change to 'fair use' see Image:Abingdon School crest.png GameKeeper (talk) 21:40, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the information. I have looked around on the internet and I can't find any images of the emblem. I have found images of pupils with the emblem on their uniform. I've readded the edit (with minor unticked :-) ). It had a cited source and was written in a netural style, if I have missed something feel free to remove again but can you expand on why on the talk page. GameKeeper (talk) 19:11, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Ant

Has been nominated as an FAC. You have been actively improving the article and it would be nice if you could take a look at the comments and help fix any issues - and feel free to take credit for the FA as well. Shyamal (talk) 08:02, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I was too busy editing and maybe I caused a few edit conflicts. I am stepping aside now after a round of copy editing, mostly trimming fluff. Do take a look too. The lead apparently needs to conform to WP:LEAD per suggestions at Wikipedia:Featured_article_candidates/Ant. Cheers. Shyamal (talk) 09:10, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
No edit conflicts here. I read the guideline and see if I can help. The article is much improved over the last couple of days . GameKeeper (talk) 09:27, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Hang on :) trying to expand the lead a bit. Do take a look, I am not very confident of it. Shyamal (talk) 16:15, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
OK. I'll stop for 30 mins. I'll take a look and put comments of the talk page. GameKeeper (talk) 16:19, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Done and stepping aside (apart from signing off). The new picture layout seems promising. Feel free to expand or edit the lead. The lead is supposed to summarise the article and invite readers to go on. The depth of the summary seems to be a tricky choice. Shyamal (talk) 16:23, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Ant colonies are sometimes described as superorganisms because the colony appears to operate as a unified entity - needs a ref with a page number - I am sure Wilson has it but do not have access to it. If you can find it there, the Oster & Wilson ref without a page number can be removed. Shyamal (talk) 16:40, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Done page 21 starts the chapter 'The super organism and the factory fortress' they describe the term on pages 21-22. I have added the page numbers to ref. GameKeeper (talk) 17:23, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
The use of Template:CiteTheAnts adds a dependency and I am not so sure if the level at which it is used can justify the template. Would be better to use the standard Cite book. Shyamal (talk) 02:52, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
OK removed it now. GameKeeper (talk) 21:16, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I just saw that the article has been relisted ! I am going to be travelling and away from my books as well, so this is going to be rather tricky. Shyamal (talk) 01:09, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, but getting the main page seems more like a curse at this point. :-) Tax reform can be controversial so the article has been hit with the usual after such a front page display. It's getting the normal calls for change with little if any substantiation for the dispute. Of course new users see any call for change (substantiated, reasonable, against policy, or otherwise) as reason for banners and complete rewrites. It's quite stressful and I'd much rather be improving more high priority tax articles, but I don't want to see this one degrade in quality due to neglect. I could certainly use the help working through the discussion if you have a some time. We need some level heads and people that understand the policy and perhaps you being from outside the U.S. might help. Morphh (talk) 16:08, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

I've added it to my watchlist. It does seem to have quietened down. GameKeeper (talk) 19:56, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Things are getting ugly - your opinion would be appreciated. Morphh (talk) 22:43, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi Morph, I have been quite busy recently an unable to follow the argument fully. I've offered my 2 cents on the talk page. I think there is some misunderstanding between what a WP:FRINGE theory is and a minority one.I'll try to keep up with the argument now. Please note I am in no way a supporter of fairtax and I do think some of the sources should be checked to ensure they should be considered reliable sources, however ideas such as removing well sourced positives benefits seem blatantly wrong to me. GameKeeper (talk) 23:04, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks Morphh (talk) 14:12, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Just so you're aware in considering the sources, FairTax.org (Americans for Fair Taxation) is the group that created the plan and commissioned a large amount of the research on it. Morphh (talk) 17:58, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

FairTax

Hi Gamekeeper; I think perhaps you don't fully appreciate the bizarreness of the FairTax. The idea that the USA would in one fell swoop replace its entire tax system with a sales tax is simply unimaginable. Nothing short of complete economic collapse could possibly justify such a risk. Almost no economist takes the proposal seriously. If the proponents were serious about this, they would call for a gradual phase-in, starting perhaps with a 5% sales tax and ~20% reduction in other taxes. But they aren't serious, and generally don't even understand their own plan; they're just in love with the radicalness of it. Looie496 (talk) 05:15, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

I agree with the aspects of phase in and expect if any action did take place in congress, such a measure would be added for implementation. It is quite bizare at that but a bill that has 17% of the House cosponsoring it (which is always less than support) and over half of the Republican presidential candidates (and one Democrat) is not a fringe topic. Minority political support does not equal fringe science, nor does lack of criticism in one particular area. Morphh (talk) 14:12, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
I do appreciate that the FairTax proposal is to replace the entire tax system. Any discussion regarding the WP:Fringeiness of this should be taken to the Talk:FairTax. GameKeeper (talk) 17:50, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

A Message about the Phorm page

By way of introduction, I work for Phorm and am working with Wikipedia on behalf of the company. I recently posted a request [21] to another editor [22] of the Phorm page. We want to have a productive and open dialogue and hopefully fix some of the problems in tone and fact with this article – there are quite a few! Unfortunately that post hasn’t progressed, he didn’t comment back to us.

As we said on the other editor’s page, we understand the Conflict_of_interest policy and hope we can work within it and with Wikipedia editors like yourself to add or correct facts where appropriate in good faith. Unfortunately, most of the editors to this page do not take the Conflict of Interest policy seriously and have serious axes to grind. They’ve written most of the article, and in tone, structure, fact and approach, the Phorm page falls well out of the bounds of neutrality.

For instance:

In the section ‘BT trials’ (last sentence), it claims: "The trial still uses the opt-out method and is therefore illegal in the UK according to the Information Commissioner's Office." This is factually inaccurate and untrue. Users are invited to opt in to the trial. The details on the invitation process can be found at: http://www2.bt.com/static/i/btretail/webwise/bt-webwise-trial.html and here's how the Daily Telegraph describes it: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/digitallife/main.jhtml?xml=/connected/2008/09/30/dlphorm130.xml

In the section ‘Reaction’ (3rd paragraph), it claims the share price had dropped 85% in March this year. It is not correct that the share price dropped 85% over the period and so was not ‘effectively collapsing’. In fact the share price drifted down over a period of 51 days by 56% from opening at £32.50 on Monday 3 March to £14.25 at the market close on Friday 16 May (based on historical share price data available on Yahoo! Finance) – that’s the same a decline of around 1% a day.

Rather than appeal to the powers that be, we’d rather see if the Wikipedia process can work at the community level as it was designed to. It’s our hope that we can work with you to moderate the changes we suggest and help create an encyclopedic article that truly fits Wikipedia’s neutrality policy. If you don’t choose to get involved maybe you could suggest a different editor: someone who has a history of commitment to Wikipedia and can approach this project without bias.

However if you do think this is something you can help with let us know. We'll look for your reply either here, or on the Phorm Talk page, or on our user page, and we’ll listen to your recommendation on how to move forward.

IworkforPhorm (talk) 14:58, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello, I am very busy with other work at the moment, so will not be able to give this the time it deserves. I will post a link to this from the talk:Phorm page in the hope that someone else may look at this. GameKeeper (talk) 21:31, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your advice. We posted on the Talk page, answered their questions and haven't had help editing at this stage. I've posted using the help comment as you suggested. Any other ideas or help would be appreciated. Thank you IworkforPhorm (talk) 17:26, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
I see someone has answered you question on the phorm talk page. GameKeeper (talk) 14:53, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Back in December I flagged some corrections needed on the Phorm talk page but thus far no editors have addressed them. Can you help? Thank you. IworkforPhorm (talk) 18:01, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Income tax image

Gamekeeper, an editor commented out your image Image:Income Taxes By Country.svg from the Tax rates around the world article with the comment "Hide chart that is showing something, but I havent a clue what. It has a purple bar and a green bar measuring someting on a scale that isnt defined". I took a look at the image, as I've dealt with it on this article and the income tax article in the past, and for some reason now it looks all messed up. Not sure if the svg is missing the xml or what... maybe it got screwed up in some move to Wikimedia Commons, or maybe something changed on Wikipedia. But in any case, it doesn't format correctly any more. Perhaps you could take a look and reupload if you still have it. Thanks Morphh (talk) 14:03, 07 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. It does indeed look broken. I've asked here if anyone can help Wikipedia:Graphic_Lab/Image_workshop#Income_tax GameKeeper (talk) 14:50, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Sockmaster returns

Hi

I noticed you raised a sockpuppetry issue a year ago. This matter has come up again. I believe he was the same user who was blocked indefinitely two years ago for uploading copy-vio images. I have raised the issue here. I need your input to proceed on this matter as one of the clerks want further diff to substantiate the case against him even though he actually admits to be a sock master. There are now 1,074 pages which he seems to want to "upgrade" to GA status. I believe there is a serious risk of legal exposure here.Anwar (talk) 15:43, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

hmm its entirely a good thing to want to upgrade articles to a GA status. The copyright vios are a more serious matter however. I have added comments to the case. I have very low confidence in wikipedia's ability to keep him banned even if he is this time. GameKeeper (talk) 19:16, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Hi, about User:Universal Hero, I think you should not block this user because he is a very good contributor. He has done over 17,000 edits, which is pretty amazing. Maybe he was a sock puppet but that was like over two years. All was fine till suddenly now, some user comes and complains because they feel like it, that is kind of unfair. If you block this user, Wikipedia is probably losing a good contributor. I was just giving my thoughts. Thanks. Xxxsacheinxxx (talk) 21:17, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Hi Xxxsacheinxxx, it would be better if you added your comments to this page Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Universal_Hero, under the Comments by other users section. GameKeeper (talk) 21:31, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

SPI case

Clerk note: I have removed your recent comment from the case, partly because it was misplaced (you should comment only in the "other users" section, bet principally because the repeated extensive arguments from both yourself and the reporter are not assisting with resolution of this case. Repeated additions of more pieces of evidence just puts us back to square one. Mayalld (talk) 12:32, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi, come in peace.

Is there, really a need to complain yet again? I've just gone through enough stress getting out of false accusations. It doesn't help, when you do another one, just because the case you supported was incorrect.

Why don't you just delete them/ put them up. Furthermore, I just wan to ask you, why you often remain inactive for long periods of time, but you often reurn when there is a problem involving me? Hmmm... Universal Hero (talk) 18:55, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Furthermore, the image on Shriya Saran - I was there. It was a massive night and several members of the public and press were there. Universal Hero (talk)
Hi, I doubt we can resolve this between us which is why I raised the incident on the noticeboard. I suggest your justifications for the apparent copyright fraud to the noticeboard too, they may be overlooked here. I stop and start editing wikipedia sporadically as my work means I sometimes have little free time. Yet again when I returned to editing I found what appears to be more copyright violations by yourself so I have raised the issue in as appropriate manner as possible. I reported you because I want to prevent further copyright fraud effecting wikipedia. GameKeeper (talk) 19:41, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm willing to remove any copyvio images, if you withdraw the case. I haven't got the time nor stability to be involved in yet another saga. Universal Hero (talk) 20:06, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Copyright violentions are one thing, claiming copyright for works that are not yours is copyright fraud and far more serious. Are you admitting that these images have been uploaded fraudulently? GameKeeper (talk) 20:14, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

No. Shriya Saran was taken by me. Th ajith one was from Kollywoodtoday, I used a wrong template. I'll change it right now. Universal Hero (talk) 20:24, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Do you think you made similar 'mistakes' on other images? You should check the ones you claim copyright over again, some may be harder to find now as they are in commons. To commit copyright fraud by mistake or intentionally is still to commit fraud. I am certain some of your other images you claim copyright over (not fair use ones) also have incorrect details.
