Friday Hassler

You edited into Hassler's article his place of death as being Moreno Valley California. The article clearly says he died in an accident at Daytona Speedway. I double checked Google News Archive. Here's an article that confirms him dying at Daytona.[1]...William 17:18, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

I re-wrote this article some more. Particularly the Bristol co-driver part and put a reference in for it. It also belonged in the body of the article where Hassler's racing is described. It referenced a blog but I couldn't find the blog and blogs are usually not considered a reliable source per WP.

The paragraph beginning 'It is said Hassler, an independent driver... It is said, then it needs to be referenced. Find a reference for it from a reliable source. Try Google News archive but not mirror sites of WP....William 23:27, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Poseidon Wars 3-D is a 1989 Sega Mega Drive video game that was released in North America and Europe. (...) Platform(s): Game Boy (...) Categories: Sega Master System-only game.

I'm tired of seeing and correcting these shitty and stupid mistakes, so this time I will not correct them. If I spot something lame, I will simply redirect the page. Enough is enough. Also I think you should upload smaller images and with a decent title. Not "PoseidonWars3DCoverArtSegaMasterSystem".

Reliable sources et al.

Good day. I've noticed that your primary sources of information in video game articles are GameFAQs and Moby Games. Please note that these are unreliable sources for information on video games. Also unreliable are generally any random site you may come upon in a Google search for game names, which you also seem to use for sources.

It is also important to note that just because you find information about a video game, doesn't mean it belongs in an article. E.g. a litany of alternative titles inside of infoboxes, random technical information and other such minutiae. It is necessary to use a fair amount discretion in determining what content belongs in such articles and maintain a neutral-sounding tone. Cheers. --Jtalledo (talk) 14:19, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Norfolk County

Hi Ryan, I've noticed your edits to the Norfolk County articles. I am a resident myself, and while Norfolk is an interesting place, details such as the opening times of museums not only distract the reader, they make the article sound "desperate for attention." What should be concentrated on more is the history of the place, rather than the minute details of how it is handled now.

If you'd like to collaborate on some articles that highlight Norfolk's history, please feel free to contact me. Knoper (talk) 02:58, 29 April 2012 (UTC)

The article Comparisons between the late-2000s recession and the Great Depression has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

OR and SYNTH, as many of the statements made in the article are not comparative to the Great Depression, and according to a commented out item viewable in edit window, many of the statements used are from interviews to emphasize a point, not journals focusing on the topic. Therefore, a broad comparison is being synthesized out of disparate sources.

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:41, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. West Eddy (talk) 02:34, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

Per policy, I am informing you. The discussion for all three is at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/John_Cena-Edge_rivalry. InedibleHulk (talk) 01:02, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

Category:Video games set in China by era, which you created, has been nominated for discussion. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the Categories for discussion page. Thank you. The article Exodus from Michigan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Essay

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Orphaned non-free media (File:PachioslotAdventure3Famicom.png)

Thanks for uploading File:PachioslotAdventure3Famicom.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 05:03, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Footnotes

Fella, you don't need to add a footnote to every sentence nor every tidbit in the infobox. A footnote after a paragraph would suffice for most passages. And might I recommend a switch to decaf? --Jtalledo (talk) 13:59, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Joonas Kuusela

Whatever reason did you have to mark Joonas Kuusela as a video game? JIP | Talk 06:36, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

Because gvnayr is a video game Guru. --Hydao (talk) 13:27, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

If you see this page: http://www.mobygames.com/game/turbografx-cd/super-fire-pro-wrestling-queens-special ... it says: Alternate Titles: "Fire Pro Joshi: Doumu Choujo Taisen - Zenjo vs. JWP". GameFAQS title is "Wrestling Universe: Fire Pro Joshi - Doumu Chou Taisen". you added Super Fire Pro Wrestling: Queen's Special for what then? "Wrestling Universe: Fire Pro Joshi - Doumu Chou Taisen" is already on that list duh. --Hydao (talk) 03:21, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
