While you may not appreciate the emojis, I do not appreciate you going out of your way to continually reverse the edits that have been made; the changes are irrefutable and you will be cited for vandalism if you do so again. HiRachel420 (talk) 12:51, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Gaslighting is a Commonly used tactic in the troubled teen industry. It would be especially corrupt for someone employed instead industry or one who has financial interest in said industry, to be making edits to Wikipedia pages regarding set industry. If this continues you will be cited for vandalism and harassment HiRachel420 (talk) 12:53, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Family Help & Wellness moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Family Help & Wellness, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Ways to improve Unsilenced[edit]

Hello, Farr4h2004,

Thank you for creating Unsilenced.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

More sources are needed. Individual sources must be evaluated separately and independently of each other and meet the four criteria below to determine if a source qualifies towards establishing notability.

  1. Contain significant coverage addressing the subject of the article directly and in depth.
  2. Be completely independent of the article subject.
  3. Meet the standard for being a reliable source.
  4. Be a secondary source; primary and tertiary sources do not count towards establishing notability.
  5. Interviews are Primary sources. See WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Farr4h2004! Your additions to Hyde School (Maine) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. โ€” Diannaa (talk) 20:43, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi (talk), I fixed it. The content is no longer word for word and does not violate copyright protections.

content sourced from struggling teens, or Woodbury reports, or other attack blocks, still be removed immediately.[edit]

thanks for your help SkidMountTubularFrame (talk) 04:37, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@SkidMountTubularFrameThe content on these site are credible sources as they are press releases and articles. They need not be removed. What premise do you have to support that they should be removed? Farr4h2004 (talk) 04:42, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@SkidMountTubularFrame Also the content from these sources are not attacks? They are actually sources from the industry itself that sheds light on what the program does and does not do. I'm confused by why you would remove the content? They are not attacks in any way. Farr4h2004 (talk) 04:44, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@SkidMountTubularFrame
Struggling teens for example is a news cite. See below from the website. Again, why do you think this content should be removed? I am not understanding.
In 1995, StrugglingTeens.com went online as the original website for information about the many schools and programs available for troubled teens. The news and articles listed within this site provide an invaluable resource for both parents and professionals, as well as anyone interested in helping troubled teens find successful paths to adulthood.
With a combination of training and 20+ years of experience, our educational consultants provide balanced news, information, and provide professional help for parents of struggling and troubled teens helping families find programs, services and schools for teens and at risk youth. Farr4h2004 (talk) 04:46, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

strugglingteens.com and Woodbury reports and other websites will be summarily removed, per wiki policy.

thanks for helping keep the sources correct. SkidMountTubularFrame (talk) 04:50, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the wiki policy? You keep saying these are attack cites but as shown above they are not whatsoever. I think you are confused. Farr4h2004 (talk) 04:51, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

i went ahead and am having people with more time and energy and knowledge explain the policy for sites such as the one your seen to be promoting. thanks again for helping me learn. SkidMountTubularFrame (talk)

some have argued without secondary sources, many of the assertions sourced appear to fall under selves published and questionable, but since I'm sandboxing the article in a complete rewrite for balance and style, I didn't want to include the source for some of the problematic content. right now we're looking at the industry that sprang up around opposition to this type of schooling, and finding immaculately sourced facts from persons who have knowledge of these types of schools. SkidMountTubularFrame (talk) 22:13, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @SkidMountTubularFrame,
In the article there are I think over 100 sources, so there are definitely other sources that are consistent with the strugglingteen.com sources. There is also a balance given that there are so many sources. Also, I am not sure what you mean "we're looking at the industry that sprang up around opposition to this type of schooling, and finding immaculately sourced facts from persons who have knowledge of these types of schools" Again, there are sources in more known publications about the school and industry, and then there are also more industry-focused sources such as strugglingteens.com, which provide news in favor of and criticizing the industry, so this is also a balances source. It is not necessarily a self-published blogs. It publishes news from many different contributors. Farr4h2004 (talk) 22:04, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, @SkidMountTubularFrame I do not see a need to "sandbox" the entire article and I suggest you thoroughly discuss what issues you have with the article before deleting an entire article that has been created over years and years and again has several sources to back it up. Let's start with the issues you have, please let us know on the talk page. Farr4h2004 (talk) 22:06, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for getting back to us here. i understand your concern regarding having and article completely rewritten for style, substantive balance, notability guidelines, npov, prose, ect. especially the prose part. it's hard not to feel special connection to edits one has made but alas, collaborative project, and i encourage you to follow along and offer help as you see fit. your seem to have a lot of passion about this specific topic. I'm indifferent, really. SkidMountTubularFrame (talk)

What do you mean getting back to โ€œusโ€? Are you a company rewriting articles? Again, if you have issues with the article please discuss it on the talk page per wiki policy. Farr4h2004 (talk) 17:18, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Ownership_of_content SkidMountTubularFrame (talk) 18:28, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Iโ€™m not trying to own any article. As mentioned, itโ€™s concerning that you are trying to rewrite an article without discussing it with the multiple editors on the talk page and more than one have asked you to do. Farr4h2004 (talk) 21:02, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

thanks again for your help. you can be certain that the new article as written will include all of the properly sources information currently in the article. that's what I'm doing as i rewrite these numerous troubled teens articles in working on. take a look when they are up, you'll note the encyclopedic sharpness, tight referenced prose, and balance. thanks again for your assistance editing Wikipedia. Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Elevations RTC shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editingโ€”especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's workโ€”whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each timeโ€”counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warringโ€”even if you do not violate the three-revert ruleโ€”should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Trails Carolina moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Trails Carolina, is not suitable as written to remain published. False Information About New Day Rising[edit]

Hi Farr4h2004, I appreciate that you are attempting to keep information about the campus located in Mayer, AZ up-to-date. However, connecting the information to all of Spring Ridge Academy's is a false representation, and once the sale and transfer are complete New Day Rising will be a different program. Although I can see connecting the physical location to Spring Ridge Academy, connecting all of the information is just false. For example, if I open a 7-11 where a Piggly Wiggly once was you cannot claim 7-11's service and offerings are the same.

For example, there will be no phase system or workshops. Also, the experiences of people at Spring Ridge Academy will have no relevance to the new program. To honor their experience, it seems only fair to maintain the original Spring Ridge Academy page.

Owlfur (talk) 20:08, 27 June 2022 (UTC)Owlfur[reply]

Hi there, it is my understanding that New Day Rising acquired the facilities and the program for Spring Ridge Academy. So this is not a new business leasing out a new space and running an entirely new business. The Piggly Wiggly (whatever that is) sounds like a different business. In this case, it is obvious that New Day Rising is taking the same licenses and transferring them over into the new name. It's a rebrand. So I think the same page is appropriate. As far as the workshops or phase systems, I have no information on that. It'll need to get released and then changes can be made as appropriate to the programming to reflect new mechanisms there. Farr4h2004 (talk) 20:14, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, let's discuss this on the talk page for New Day Rising. I think that is more appropriate! Farr4h2004 (talk) 20:16, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
