Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your edit on Santarém, Portugal, but please note your interpretation on Marquess is incorrect. As defined in the article identified, both Marquess and Marquis (English and French variants, respectively) are interchangeable, and the the feminine of the Marquess is Marchioness or Marquise (once again English/French literation). I did not revert your changes since they were complimentary. Hope to see further edits from you in the future, and enjoy editing on English Wikipedia. Personal attacks on other editors[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Regardless of whether an editor whose edits are vandalism or not, you should not be attacking them. Revert their edits then report to WP:AIV. Continued attacks will lead to a block. Blackmane (talk) 02:40, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

May 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at WP:ANI, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. In answer to your question, I believe it is because the earlier points were scored by Lola who were the actual constructor. Whereas, in 1993, Larrousse built their own car for the first time. The relevant season articles are written in this way. I'm sure this has been discussed before, however, and I will raise it with members of the F1 project. Serial comma[edit]

Please do not make edits merely to remove the serial comma (also called the Oxford comma). Per MOS:SERIAL, it is perfectly acceptable to use, and even preferable at times. Edits just to remove them are against the manual of style. And reverting the re-addition is really pointless. Please take care to familiarize yourself with the manual of style. oknazevad (talk) 22:06, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 13:28, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have deleted the invention of a spring loaded rear wing on this site because you refer to Chapparal as the developer.
