There may be changes needed regarding rater's function to add listas and living parameters to WPBIO.

Please see Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Cewbot 12, some parameters will be moved to {{WPBS}}, so it may not be appropriate to add them to WPBIO. Kanashimi (talk) 12:23, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

@Kanashimi: There haven't been any significant updates to Template:WikiProject Biography/doc, or it's TemplateData which has parameters marked as required/suggested per the text of the doc. Rater automatically adds required/suggested parameters to banners – all banners including the banner shell, not just WPBIO. Tracking categories like Category:Biography articles without living parameter might also need to be updated if parameters are no longer required, or at least their descriptions should be updated if parameters are now meant to be added to the banner shell template instead. - Evad37 [talk] 23:21, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
Can we not add listas and living parameters to WPBIO if it is present in WPBS? Kanashimi (talk) 01:35, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Working on it - Evad37 [talk] 04:08, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
MSGJ did recently make a change to the WPBIO template code regarding the living parameter, so they may be able to comment further. I was assuming it now inherited it from WPBS if it was present there, for the purposes of tracking a categories at least. -Kj cheetham (talk) 16:00, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
P.S. An update to the doc is probably required by now. -Kj cheetham (talk) 16:02, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
I added some info to the documentation and the category description, and updated the TemplateData. - Evad37 [talk] 12:30, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Evad37 Thank you. -Kj cheetham (talk) 15:23, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
On a similar note, should RATER be moving the vital banners into the banner shell too? -Kj cheetham (talk) 15:24, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
{{Vital article}} has now been deleted, so I guess there's no need - Evad37 [talk] 09:42, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
