I was unaware of the username rules and the policy of making changes for an employer. My CEO asked me to fix misinformation since it was last updated around 2020. I thought I was being transparent enough about the changes I made and was not promoting or advertising anything about the company. The information I updated was replacing the old CEO's name with the new one, adding information about where the company is headquartered now, and accurate information about companies under its umbrella. I was not trying to deceive any readers, and the changes were made in good faith to provide accurate information about the company without promoting or advertising. I have read the suggested articles and understand the issue with COI now. I now know that I should have put in an edit request instead of changing the information myself, as I am an employee of the company. My apologies. I've used information from Wikipedia for years but was unfamiliar with Wiki's backside and how it works. I do not need edit rights and don't foresee myself as an individual needing to make edits to any other articles. I will follow the instructions to enter an edit request on the talk pages of the two articles I tried to edit. I do not need editor rights, so please feel free to do whatever you deem necessary to allow me to make an edit request. Thank you, and sorry for causing any trouble. That was not my intention in any way; I was just trying to change incorrect/outdated information about the company.
