Hello,

I am trying to update the Escape to the Country wikipedia page, as I work on the show. I have been editing the page so it is up to date and correct, but the edits were not saving hence the re-editing of the same information onto the page again. I have been blocked from editing the page, how do I get unblocked please so I can update the page?

Hello, I have read the reasons given for not removing the below block, however I am not sure how is best to update the page please? Currently the Escape to the Country Wikipedia page is not accurate and up to date, and I am purely trying to update it so it is both. There is no opinion mentioned, I am just amending the page and updating it. Would you be able to assist me please with how best to do this? I am part of the Escape to the Country team, and trying to update the wikipedia page so it is factually correct and up to date please. I have put the changes needed below to be looked over, and updated by others when possible please. I am not able to put them on the talk section of the Escape to the Country page with being blocked.

1 - Where it says 'citation needed' after global social media presence second paragraph, please can a web citation to the Escape to the Country instagram page be placed there - https://www.instagram.com/escape_country/

2 - For the related section, under Greatest Escapes to the Country please can Celebrity Escape to the Country be added in italics.

3 - Under the presenters section, please can Nicki Shields be altered to 2014 only, and Chris Bavin to 2022 only.

4 - Under Spin offs and related shows, please could this paragraph be added:

A further series, Celebrity Escape to the Country (can this be in italics please), features the same concept and presenters, but with celebrities as the potential buyers. The primary series broadcast on BBC One in December 2023 (please can there be a web cite to this page https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/m001tl4n/celebrity-escape-to-the-country). The celebrities included Dr Ranjit 'Ranj' Singh, Christopher Biggins, Cheryl Baker, Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec, and Jenny Ryan.

5 - Under international broadcasters please can the below be added at the bottom:

I will try to show sources below:

Point 1 - It says 'citation needed' where social media is mentioned, so the official Escape to the Country instagram page has been linked. What else do you need further regarding updating this please?

Point 2 and 4 - Celebrity Escape to the Country - this has been broadcast on BBC iplayer, episodes shown in the link - BBC iPlayer - Celebrity Escape to the Country [1]

Point 3 and Point 5 - How would be best to support these changes please? We are the official Escape to the Country team with this objective information documented.

Hi, reliable sources are required for articles, social media such as Instagram does not meet the defintion. And they should be secondary sources, since the show is broadcast on BBC this is not secondary. News stories from other organisations (e.g. ITV, The Guardian, etc.) would be a good example of a reliable source (of course, each source is different and needs to be evaluated per WP:RS).
