Personal Sandbox[edit]

Hi! :-) It appears that you attempted to create a personal sandbox at Dreamliner888:Sandbox. I have moved it from that name to User:Dreamliner888/Sandbox, which is the proper way to create a sandbox in the userspace. The page at Dreamliner888:Sandbox, which is technically in the article space, has been tagged for deletion. Not to worry, however, as all the information that was on the page has been moved to the new page in your userspace. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. --NickContact/Contribs 17:51, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I got it. For all other visitors, this is the appropriate way to establish Sandbox: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Dreamliner888/Sandbox

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Energy efficient lighting, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.eartheasy.com/live_energyeff_lighting.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. A tag has been placed on Energy efficient lighting, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Energy efficient lighting and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 01:03, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will fix the new article I created -- Thanks.[edit]

I have no connection to any of the light bulbs companies, nor do I sell or intend to sell any of these products. I only created this article to bring about the knowledge and awareness of these "green products". I need to work on the page.

When you intend to dispute a "speedy deletion" you shouldn't remove the {{db}} tag, but rather place your {{hangon}} tag underneath. Also, your article is apparently a copy of the webpage that you cite. This is a copyright violation, and will not be allowed to remain.WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 01:27, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

US oil dependence[edit]

Hi, I worked on the article you started. It had a lot of opinions and origional research mixed in which I removed (see wp:OR and wp:SYN for why we can't have those) and a lot of grammar mistakes. You sould also be sure that you only use good reliable sources to back up your statements (youtube is not a site that is generally allowed to be linked to as there is no quality control over the content and it can change at any time). I do think it's a good topic to address somewhere, but I'm just not sure where. I have suggested that the article be merged with North American energy independence, so please join the conversation on that article's talk page to give your views. I'll see you there.
