Hey, re your question about the Sam Sloan article, the answer is there was a community discussion a few months ago about whether to delete the article (that happens pretty normally with biographical articles when the subject isn't very famous). The result of the discussion was to NOT delete the article. Of course someone could renominate it but nobody seems to want that right now.

There was an even earlier discussion that was withdrawn by the nominator before it closed:

("Votes for deletion" was the old name for the "Articles for deletion" process, though it was never really a voting process).

I just thought you might find that interesting, either to see what people thought of the Sloan article, or to see how that aspect of the Wikipedia editorial process works.

I've always enjoyed chessgames.com. My first Wikipedia edit was to this page. I especially like to follow the games against the grandmaster. I'm sure even you have been surprised by the popularity of these events. Anyway...
