How to stop sockpuppeting?[edit]

Any advice on how to quit sockpuppetry? Thanks Chocobiscuits (talk) 17:56, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The way to quit sockpuppetry is...... to quit sockpuppetry. Stick to a single account, which should be Tbf69. 331dot (talk) 18:10, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@331dot Unblock me there then please. My behaviour has been impeccable on this account. Chocobiscuits (talk) 18:14, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The merits of your edits are not relevant if you are socking. If you want your valid edits to stand, you must make an unblock request under your original account and stop using other accounts(including this one). It's likely going to be a long, hard road to build trust if you really are interested in a return to legitimate editing. If you're not prepared to do that, this is all just a waste of everyone's time, including you. 331dot (talk) 18:17, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I wondered if something was up with this account, knew way too much wiki stuff for a new account. Oaktree b (talk) 20:18, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My recommendation is the same one I've made to you previously: stop socking immediately, prove you can contribute positively at another Wikimedia project (Commons, Wiktionary, whatever), and post an unblock request on your main account in a year or so to take the WP:Standard offer. The most important part is to stop socking, because if you continue to do so, it would be a miracle if you were ever unblocked; you still have a chance, so don't blow it.
