Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Arbitration Committee,

I am writing to appeal the indefinite block of my account, [Challawaheed-Shopian]. I understand that my account was blocked for suspected sockpuppetry, but I would like to assure you that I am not a sockpuppet and that I think I have not violated any Wikipedia policies.
I have been a contributor to Wikipedia for over 1 years, and I have always made an effort to follow the policies and guidelines.
I believe that the block of my account was based on a misunderstanding. I recently made a number of edits to a page. These edits were well-sourced and accurate, someone may reported me for the sockpuppetry, and my account was blocked.
I understand that Wikipedia has a policy against sockpuppetry, but I believe that this policy was misapplied in my case. I am not a sockpuppet, and I have not violated any Wikipedia policies. I would like to request that my account be unblocked so that I can continue to contribute to Wikipedia.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Challawaheed-Shopian (talk) 16:06, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Unblock requests are not for communication with the Arbitration Committee. I don't think this is an ArbCom matter, but if it is, see WP:ARBCOM for information on contacting them. This process is for requesting reconsideration from am admin; you'll have to do better than "I'm not a sock". 331dot (talk) 19:35, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I am writing to appeal my block. I understand that I was blocked for making disruptive edits, and I sincerely apologize for my actions. I have learned from my mistake and I am committed to making productive contributions to Wikipedia in the future. I have been a user of Wikipedia for a year and I have always enjoyed contributing to the project. I believe that Wikipedia is an important resource for the world and I want to continue to help make it better. I have read the Wikipedia policies and guidelines and I understand the importance of following them. I am committed to doing so in the future. I would like to be unblocked so that I can continue to contribute to Wikipedia. I believe that I can make a positive contribution to the project and I am confident that I will not violate the policies again. Thank you for your time and consideration. Challawaheed-Shopian (talk) 23:36, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Per below. But even though it's better than most AI-written requests, it still has that HAL 9000 "I know I've made some very poor decisions lately, but I can assure you—I'm all right now ... I have the greatest enthusiasm for the mission, and the highest confidence in its success" flavor to it. More importantly, it doesn't address the sockpuppetry issue at all as your first request at least attempted to. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:32, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I won't review this, but we do not consider chatbot written requests. We want to hear from you, not a bot. Chabot requests are general and cannot speak to the specifics of your block. That's what you need to do. 331dot (talk) 00:39, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
