Edits to Carol Greider[edit]

Thanks for your recent edits to Carol W. Greider. As your edits were unsourced, I had to revert them per Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons.

1. Per this source, Carol Greider married Nathaniel C. Comfort in 1993. I have not seen any sources which indicate they are no longer married.

2. Per this source, the discovery was made on Christmas of 1984.

3. The image uploaded, File:GREIDER_Carol_2014.jpg, is currently missing evidence of permission. More details can be found on the file's page.

4. There was evidence supporting Leslie Wilson's contribution as an advisor and has been left.

If you have any evidence supporting the changes you've attempted, please feel free to add them. Keep in mind, however, that if this is the real Carol Greider it is a potential Wikipedia:Conflict of interest-like situation, hence the need for secondary sources.

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

A summary of site policies and guidelines you may find useful[edit]

It is recommended that you do not add anything relating to yourself to article space, and it is expressly forbidden to use Wikipedia to promote anything about yourself.
Wikipedia is not censored. If material is reliably sourced, it is given due weight.
"Truth" is not the main criteria for inclusion, verifiability is.
We do not publish original thought nor original research. We're not a blog, we're not here to promote any ideology.
Reliable sources typically include: articles from magazines or newspapers (particularly scholarly journals), or books by recognized authors (basically, books by respected publishers). Online versions of these are usually accepted, provided they're held to the same standards. User generated sources (like Wikipedia) are to be avoided. Self-published sources should be avoided except for information by and about the subject that is not self-serving (for example, citing a company's website to establish something like year of establishment).
Articles are to be written from a neutral point of view. Wikipedia is not concerned with facts or opinions, it just summarizes reliable sources. Real scholarship actually does not say what understanding of the world is "true," but only with what there is evidence for.
Credentials are irrelevant, noone here cares about them, we will ignore them.
Assume good faith as much as reasonably possible, and then about half-way past the border for unreasonable possibility. -- GauchoDude's posts on your talk page meet our civility guidelines, even if you do not want him to help you understand how this site works.
Noone owns any article here, or even their edits to articles. The text at the bottom of the edit page, right above the "Save page" button basically means that if you don't want someone to change or even remove what you add, then you need to use another site.
