Your GA nomination of Cassian Andor[edit]

The article Cassian Andor you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Cassian Andor for comments about the article, and Talk:Cassian Andor/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Hello, - You declined Draft:DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ on 23 Jan for WP:N and WP:TONE. I have done some cleaning up around the edges, but to be frank, I'm failing to see how 6 secondary sources (now 7) explicitly fails WP:N (i.e. these are not just "passing mentions"), or what specifically in the article is failing tone. If you could take another look, or point me to some specifics, I would greatly appreciate it. HarryKernow (talk) 02:56, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @HarryKernow: thank you for editing the page! Removing the YT and the band's official website. and adding the Guardian article helped a lot. Out of the original 6 sources, 4 are interviews which are kind of shaky for demonstrating notability. I personally think they should but a lot of editors disagree. The inclusion on the NPR list I think has just enough depth to count. The reliability of the sources is also a bit varied. AP/Guardian/NPR are great, Dancing Astronaut/KXLU/Bandcamp Daily are OK, I'm not sure about Fandomentals or the Tape Deck. All combined, these sources probably get it over the edge of notability, especially with the Guardian piece since that's both in-depth and independent. There's one or two uncited sentences that either need a ref or should be removed. Other than that, it's probably fine now imo. BuySomeApples (talk) 06:30, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like it was accepted, but I'll keep an eye out for more/better sources either way - thanks for the 2nd look. HarryKernow (talk) 00:43, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
