1. I don't really know if what I'm doing is procedurally correct and stuff, maybe I should go on the talk pages of the articles before making big formatting and copyedit changes? I thought those articles were small so I didn't think many people would care, but again, I'm not sure if that's procedurally correct.

2. And after copyediting, I thought I've finished so I just popped the copyedit tag right off of the article, should I keep it there for other people to review it first? not entirely sure.

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Hi, if all you do is add a source or do some copyediting to get an article ready for the main page, you can go ahead and approve the nomination. But if you add a lot of sources, or do serious rewriting, you should add your name to the DYK co-creation credits and call for a new reviewer. Does that make sense? WP:AFC Helper News

Hello! I wanted to drop a quick note for all of our AFC participants; nothing huge and fancy like a newsletter, but a few points of interest.

• AFCH will now show live previews of the comment to be left on a decline.
• The template {{db-afc-move}} has been created - this template is similar to {{db-move}} when there is a redirect in the way of an acceptance, but specifically tells the patrolling admin to let you (the draft reviewer) take care of the actual move.

Short and sweet, but there's always more to discuss at WT:AFC. Stop on by, maybe review a draft on the way?
