Ministerial Broadcasts[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your edits to the Ministerial Broadcast article. I just wanted to explain why I have removed the list from the article:

Most of the events listed aren't actually Ministerial Broadcasts, which is defined as a government minister getting air time to talk about a specific subject. This does not include press conferences and speeches to the media, often outside Downing Street behind a lectern. Although these are often shown on the main channels, they are not specifically aimed at a television audience (thus discounting the radio broadcasts that feature at the bottom of the list).

In addition to this, links from Wikipedia to YouTube aren't normally allowed due to the risk of copyright violations, per WP:YOUTUBE.

I appreciate that you have put a lot of time collating this list, so I have kept it 'behind the scenes' for the time being, at User:PinkPanda272/Sandbox/List of Ministerial Broadcasts. Feel free to refine this to meet the scope of the article, and of Wikipedia's policy requirements about reliable sources. It may also come in handy should someone decide to create an article about 'Downing Street addresses' or similar to include all speeches made by incumbent Prime Ministers.
