Hello, WriterPankajRai, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay.

Hi Jeraxmoira,
Thanks for letting me know about many things. I'm a contributor on Wikipedia, and I am creating pages for some popular topics that are not on Wikipedia, but they are popular and many independent sources have published about them.
Can you help me in figuring out a few things.
This one "Draft:JCBL Limited" Is one of the companies that I used to work in the past. The company wants its Wikipedia page to be created.
Being connected to the topic/company, still I have written content that is as per the Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I have written it in a neutral point of view, as you can see. Every hard statement in the article is backed by the reliable sources.
I am making these changes to the article as per your guidance:
  1. Removing company's website links from the article.
2. Removing the statements that are not backed by any reliable source.
3. Going to make a disclaimer statement for the "Conflict of Interest".
Do let me know how can I make a disclaimer statement for the "Conflict of Interest". I would be glad if you help me.
And you can get this page reviewed by multiple contributors on Wikipedia and they will find that all sources are reliable and showcases the company as a valid and a popular entity that is working since last few decades in the country with many popular government and private projects. So there is no incorrect information in the article.
Please help me for further additions. I will make changes as per your policies. Do help me out, thanks! WriterPankajRai (talk) 04:41, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block.
Where can I experiment with editing Wikipedia?
How do I create an article?
See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below.
How do I create citations?
  1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
  2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
  3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
  4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
  5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like <ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing).
  6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
  7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References==
{{Reflist}}
What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one?
A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Wikipedia. (See this page for a complete list of WikiProjects.) If you would like to help, add your username to the list that is on the bottom of the WikiProject page.

Hello WriterPankajRai. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:WriterPankajRai. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=WriterPankajRai|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 09:20, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WriterPankajRai (talk) 09:50, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello,
I am not affiliated with this topic, and also I am not paid for anything. The whole thing is organic, and I am doing this just because I have to make contributions to the Wikipedia, and I want to add to my profile that I am a Wikipedia contributor. So that is why I am picking up topics that are popular, published, but not available on Wikipedia. This topic is one among these topics. In the new draft that I submitted, there is very minimal content as well as there is nothing promotional or advertorial. WriterPankajRai (talk) 09:50, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean, "add to your profile"? And there is much that is indeed promotional about the draft. 331dot (talk) 09:52, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WriterPankajRai (talk) 09:54, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Like I am a writer so I can add to my writer profile (outside wikipedia) and show my experience in contributing to wikipedia to the outer world. That was the only purpose. WriterPankajRai (talk) 09:54, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please help me know what is promotional, and I will remove that completely. It is not promotional rather the notable work done by the company. WriterPankajRai (talk) 10:24, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The word "solutions" is just marketing puffery(see WP:SOLUTIONS) and should be removed. The draft just tells of the existence of the company and its activities- this is promotional, you don't have to be soliciting or selling something. (promotion has a broader meaning on Wikipedia than is commonly understood) You should be summarizing independent reliable sources that give significant coverage to this company and show how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. "Significant coverage" goes beyond merely telling what the company does and goes into detail about what sources see as important/significant/influential about the company. Not every company merits an article, it depends on the sources. 331dot (talk) 10:37, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WriterPankajRai (talk) 11:21, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok Solutions can be removed. Also, the sources given are reliable and independent sources. And the articles might only tell that what this company does, but the company has contributed towards government projects and is behind many notable projects such as making on-demand vehicles for celebrities like Salman Khan and Chief Ministers of India. This company was part of discussion when people searched about the company who made VIP buses for Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, etc. Do you think this company doesn't merits an article.
Let me do one thing, I am removing everything that explains about what the company does or did in the past, and add just information about the company.
Will it work? The minimal version? WriterPankajRai (talk) 11:21, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's not enough to just give information about the company. This is not a mere database of things that exist. You must show that the company is a notable company as Wikipedia defines it(please click to read).
Notability is not inherited by association. The mere fact that this company has produced buses for notable people/politicians does not confer notability on the company. Microsoft does not merit an article because the US government or other governments or important people purchase its products, but because independent sources have extensively written about Microsoft and its influence in both business and society. 331dot (talk) 12:41, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
