Lance mackey
I am lances youngest brother wes. We have some complaints. Firstly, you haven't listed any of his other siblings, nor have you found the distinction between our mother, and dicks second wife Kathy, not to be confused with our mother, Kathie. He also did not perish of throat cancer, but in fact passed due to a combination of cancers, non including throat cancer. I have several more things to state, but it would take much longer. I , and our family, would like these distinctions corrected. Thank you. 69.178.60.153 (talk) 18:31, 16 September 2022 (UTC)

Redirects and NOTBROKEN
Hi there. I would recommend that you read Wp:NOTBROKEN for why we shouldn't usually fix redirect links. There's a possibility in some cases that that link may become an article in the future. Anyway it's strongly discouraged to fix a redirect link except in certain circumstances. Thanks. Canterbury Tail talk 21:00, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hey @Canterbury Tail:, thanks for pointing that out. Often, fixing "unbroken" links are not always helpful. And that is in this case. Sarrail (talk) 21:15, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
- ...and a question. As an example, under demographics in Juneau, Alaska, on the word poverty line, is it correct to fix the redirect link to poverty threshold? Sarrail (talk) 21:20, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
- I think that’s a case of it’s not broken so don’t do anything with it. Canterbury Tail talk 22:05, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
- Noted, thank you. Gosh, how did I not see that in one of tens of thousands of Wikipedia pages? Sarrail (talk) 00:24, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hey, it's hard to find and read every policy and style guide, there are a lot of them. Canterbury Tail talk 00:41, 28 September 2022 (UTC)

Tropical Storm Gavin
You guys picked the wrong name for the storm. That's why it's been changed. 4.71.225.18 (talk) 00:48, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- The NHC has designated the name, not Wikipedia. See this list for details. Sarrail (talk) 00:49, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- As I mentioned on your talk page, please stop edit warring. This violates WP:3RR. Sarrail (talk) 01:02, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
