Redirects are cheap; editor time is not

I realize that redirects are cheap, but some of the many redirects you have created seem in balance to be a detriment to the encyclopedia rather than an improvement, as many of them are extremely unlikely to be of use to anybody, and end up taking up editor discussion time at WP:Rfd. Some of those are linked above, but many dozens more probably should be, and probably would be, were it not for the fact that they would take away even more editor time from doing something more useful. Can you please comment on what your philosophy is for creating redirects such as:
