From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm PurpleTheory, welcome to my user page. I hope that by contributing to Wikipedia, I am doing a small part to improve society and the collective knowledge of the internet. Currently, my presence on Wikipedia is more natural and casual. Right now, my main focuses are countering vandalism, copy editing, and turning redlinks blue. I have a bad habit of often publishing things prematurely (i.e. before I write an edit summary or check the minor edit checkbox when needed,) so I apologize if that has presented any challenges for you.

Editing style and habits[edit]

Being American, I tend to favour;) American English in my edits, while at the same time being mindful of when it is not appropriate. My main area of interest is in copy editing and translation, so as such most of my edits are in regards to existing content, whether it be copy editing or adding content from another wiki, rather than creating completely new content. I find that I gravitate towards editing and creating biographies more than any other article type.
