Hamfisted merger[edit]

Whoever had the bright idea of merging the historical parties into this one as "defunct" does not seem to realize that there are more defunct parties not included as historical (the latter had a date range that was simply removed). Random example: Party of Free Change -- defunct, but not historic. Just who do you expect will clean up this mess? Dahn (talk) 09:08, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

While we’re at it, it makes no sense to bury the major parties among a sea of parties that win a handful of votes. We should return to the previous version, or to something like Template:Political parties in the United Kingdom, Template:German political parties, Template:Italian political parties, etc. — Biruitorul Talk 09:38, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
