Add specific class for this template[edit]

Hello! I'm trying to create a userscript for WikiProject Copyright Cleanup editors and noticed that this template doesn't have a specific class to identify it (much like how {{edit semi-protected}} is implemented). I've made the required changes in the module sandbox (diff) and I'd like to request that version to be copied into Module:Copied. It introduces the "copiednotice" class into the box so that it can be efficiently targeted on rendered talk pages and in Parsoid documents. Chlod (say hi!) 06:06, 29 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 17 May 2022 - Categorisation fixing[edit]

Currently, if a page uses fromX without using from (like here), it'll get put into Category:Wikipedia pages using copied template without oldid incorrectly even if it has a perfectly valid oldidX. I've made a change onto the sandbox version that fixes this. Aidan9382 (talk) 06:37, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. Give the servers time to catch up. P.I. Ellsworth - ed. put'r there 07:40, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 28 September 2023[edit]

Please change:

image = '[[File:Splitsection.svg|50px]]',

To:

image = '[[File:Splitsection.svg|frameless|upright=0.23|link=|alt=]]',

...per MOS:BLANKALT and MOS:UPRIGHT. Thanks! HouseBlastertalk 03:49, 28 September 2023 (UTC), edited to add |frameless 15:41, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Examples now on Template:Copied/testcases. The image is now smaller and you dropped the 50px. Is that intentional? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 12:11, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Per MOS:UPRIGHT, "px works the same as upright for users with the usual base width setting of 220px, but works counterintuitively for readers whose base width is set to a different value... For example, an image coded 275px—presumably to make it wider than most images on a particular page—is actually rendered smaller than most images if the user has changed their base width to 300px" (emphasis in original). To convert between the two, you divide the value in pixels by 220, which in this case gives us 0.22727272727... However, because I forgot the frameless param (thank you for sandboxing this... goes to show you even trivial changes should realllllly be tested first), the upright param had no effect on resizing the image. I have edited the sandbox to reflect this, and it should be working now. HouseBlastertalk 15:41, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
 Done that looks better — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:57, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Make the change as described in this diff Toadette (April Fools Day!) 22:15, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wait, not the template, but the module. Should've posted at Module talk:Copied Toadette (April Fools Day!) 22:17, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Done Module talk:Copied redirects here so this is in the right place. * Pppery * it has begun... 02:29, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
