Question from Shadowstorm828 (03:55, 13 April 2024)[edit]

Hi, I'm trying to update a page and the only edit option that I have is to edit the source code of the page. Is there anyway to directly edit the page itself? --Shadowstorm828 (talk) 03:55, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, @Shadowstorm828! If you mean edit the page visually, you might be interested in trying out VisualEditor. More information on VE is available on the linked page. Let me know if you have any more questions. Chlod (top • contribs) 03:58, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from ThedudeLex (19:26, 20 April 2024)[edit]

How do I create a page for an athlete with their respective information? Do I just create an article and once it is reviewed they put the information in the correct areas? Thanks for tour help --ThedudeLex (talk) 19:26, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, @ThedudeLex, and welcome to Wikipedia! When creating articles, you have to add in the information yourself before sending it off for review. I suggest reading Help:Your first article, the notability guideline in sports (which dictates who are eligible to have articles written about them), and Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons (which is a general guideline on biographies). All of these pages have relevant information about writing articles for athletes. If you have any questions, feel free to reply! I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.
