  • Hook is referenced by foreign-language sources and accepted in good faith; article size is acceptable; meets every other guideline, as far as I'm concerned. The article is good to go. ComputerJA (talk) 07:51, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
  • The hook must be referenced by the end of the sentence in which the fact is stated, which is not the case here. Please be sure to add that source citation, even if it is used elsewhere in the paragraph. I also find it curious that the article never states whether the contract was in fact signed (and when); this should be made clear, as it is an event well in the past and must be known. In addition, the record label should be mentioned in the intro and the first Release paragraph, and I believe there is an error at the beginning of the Reception paragraph: it says "May 3, 2011", but as the single was released in 2010 (if the Chart section is correct), it should say "May 3, 2010". Finally, there are times when the prose is non-neutral, such as "The girls didn't lose their fighting spirit" in the Promotion paragraph, and needs to be given neutral phrasing.     I'm working on the issues you pointed out, that's why I didn't reply earlier. The whole paragraph is sourced from one article on the Oricon site. I didn't state whether the contract was signed because I don't know. Unrealiable sources say that Reni Takagi passed the test later. Also, later in the year fans noticed that she looked unhealthily thin. I will have to find more reliable sources to make it clear. The rules say "5 DYK credits", so I thought that it was credits at the time of the nomination that counted. I will make a quid pro quo review for this one. --Moscow Connection (talk)

There's a problem with the current idea for the hook. It seems most probable that the contract signing ceremony was a farce. I can't say if the members knew or not. It is very much in the spirit of the idol world to play little pranks on the girls. The Oricon article used as a source seems to be serious, but I noticed that they put the expressions "idol weight" and "temporary contract" in quotes. It may indicate that there's no such thing as an "idol weight" and there was no "temporary contract" signed at the ceremony itself. The problem was pointed out by a Japanese Wikipedia editor, you can read the discussion here (it's in English).
ALT1 ... that the dance routine for the song "Ikuze! Kaitō Shōjo" by Momoiro Clover incorporates intense acrobatics?

  • Pictures cannot be used in nominations unless they also appear in the article, and this one does not. There doesn't seem to be room in the article for this picture, and frankly it doesn't show up well at thumbnail size. My suggestion would be to drop the picture and ALT3, and go with ALT2, but I'll let you decide whether you want to try your luck with the picture and add it somehow to the article.   • Approval for ALT2. Took several of the foreign language sources through Google translate and they seem to adequately source the material in the article without plagiarism or close paraphrasing but ultimately I'm going to rest on good faith. Meets other guidelines of length and date. It is a shame we don't have an article on shrimp jump or sheep jump or something to link to. Wouldn't be a bad April's Fool hook.
