  • - Length and date check out. I had to put the cite for the hook through Bing Translator and while it appears to check, online translators have a nasty habit of butchering translations. Best, Mifter (talk) 22:03, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

  • "Brutal" is not a word commonly employed to describe language use - is this a quote? If so, the word should be in quotation marks. Also, the article says "During his dictatorship" - whose? Gatoclass (talk) 15:21, 15 December 2012 (UTC)

I have read a couple of the article's sources now. Firstly, the source for the hook doesn't say he used "brutal" language, it says he was sometimes "brutally honest", which is a different thing. Also, I think you have failed to sufficiently emphasize his role as a proponent of agricultural interests. Additionally, the article tends to paint him as some sort of extreme hardline right winger and the sources don't seem to support that, he seems to be regarded as a positive contributor in his field of interest and even got a tribute in the Uruguayan senate (a fact which should probably be in the article). So I think you need to review your sources and try to represent him a little more accurately - not that I have read all the sources but judging by the first two he hasn't been represented accurately in the article in my view. I probably wasn't specific enough in that last post. I think if you correct the quote from "brutal" to "brutal honesty", emphasize his contributions to agricultural debate a bit more, mention his tribute in the Senate and clarify that his conservatism was in relation to his Catholic faith, you will probably have done enough to comply with WP:NPOV.
