User:Ianmacm, could you explain why you've flagged this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.134.120.238 (talkcontribs) 17:20, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it looks like WP:ADVERT. Anyway, please leave the tagging until an admin has looked at the article.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 17:23, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If Google Instant has its own page, then I don't see why YouTube Instant shouldn't. Anyway what's there to advertise here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dorcasloss (talkcontribs) 17:24, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the sourcing is from blogs, which does not really establish notability. Also, Wikipedia is not news.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 17:27, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Anyway, if you think that it wasn't written well, why don't you re-write it? Perhaps it does sound like WP:ADVERT, but not having a page on this new technology would not do justice to this encyclopedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dorcasloss (talkcontribs) 17:30, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dorcasloss, you didn't include the new york times article http://www.ndtv.com/article/technology/stanford-student-creates-youtube-instant-offered-job-from-youtube-51387%7D. I deleted most of your references because they are largely from blogs. And much of your text too should have been deleted. Lovetheworldplease (talk) 17:51, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone here has links to YouTube Instant, they may have a conflict of interest. There is not a lot to say about YouTube Instant at the moment that is worth a separate article.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 18:00, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sock puppetry[edit]

How many different people have really edited this article since it was created? There appears to be clear evidence of WP:SOCK.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 21:02, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is very simple method, it doesn't need to be published on Wikipedia. As he said "less than an hour". it is not rocked science, neither something revolutionary. Just a simple request method. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.180.43.89 (talkcontribs) 20:04, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Current status[edit]

Is this site, or company, or Andy Warhol test case, still even in existence?

In popular culture[edit]

Twitter feed @IYIYI, which alerts people to parodies of cartoons featuring hispanic themes, mentions Youtube Instant, for no particular reason other than its initials. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 02:44, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
