Expand from stub class?[edit]

I would like to expand this article from stub class, unless somebody else has plans. My sources will be Howard L. Boorman and Richard C. Howard, Biographical Dictionary of Republican China (New York: Columbia University Press, 1970)Vol. III, pp. 341-44 Donald W. Klein and Anne B. Clark, Biographic Dictionary of Chinese Communism, 1921-1965 Mary G. Mazur, "Intellectual Activism in China During the 1940s: Wu Han in the United Front and the Democratic League," The China Quarterly.133 (1993): 27-55. plus some general histories of the Cultural Revolution, including Roderick MacFarquhar Michael Schoenhals, Mao's Last Revolution (Cambridge, Mass.: Belknap Press of Harvard University Press, 2006).

I will not do this for a week or two. ch (talk) 03:04, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for going ahead. I found that incorrect information from the original Wikipedia article was being copied to another website. ch (talk) 05:44, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page move / renaming[edit]

Wu Han (historian) seems like a more appropriate title for this page, doesn't it? Wu Han (PRC) is an odd choice for a name, as it would suggest that a person should be identified principally by the political administration under which he died. Wu was not even born during the Communist era, and many of his career accomplishments predated the founding of the PRC. Homunculus (duihua) 05:23, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
