William Hope Is Not A Huge Superstar[edit]

"After Hellbound: Hellraiser 2, Hope went on to be one of the most respected and recognized American actor nowadays. Hope became a huge superstar".

Oh my god i was laughing so hard, I haven't laughed so hard in weeks. Seriously, check his IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0394054/. There's nothing there of note or respect at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.132.3.7 (talk) 14:28, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was a silly thing to say, yes (and long since deleted), but you're exaggerating in the other direction. Hope's a reasonably well-known and respected actor, who even has a "cult film" following because of his prominent role in the "Aliens" franchise. "Nothing of ... note or respect at all" is bordering on a WP:NPA issue. — SMcCandlish   Talk⇒ ɖ∘¿¤þ   Contrib. 05:55, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Julia(Clare Higgins) finishes Kyle (William Hope).jpg[edit]

Image:Julia(Clare Higgins) finishes Kyle (William Hope).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Kyra Gracie[edit]

"He dated jiu-jitsu superstar Kyra Gracie from 1997 to 2000." - what, when she was 12? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.185.240.123 (talk) 17:42, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's bad in so many ways. The claim has been removed. Favonian (talk) 12:50, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Si. This article has had cites requested for long enough; I'm going to stub anything that isn't at least in line with the appearances at imdb. It can all be added back if anyone ever has the inclination to dig up some references. Kuru (talk) 13:58, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request on 28 June 2012[edit]

Under William Hope's Filmography please change "The Glass House" (2010) to "Walking With The Enemy" (2012) which will be released in the autumn of 2012.

Also it would be fair to say that "William Hope lives in London with his wife and two daughters"

best,

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Andie ▶Candy◀ 17:53, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unless they put a dark contact on one of his eyes on purpose for no clear reason on Spooks (a.k.a. MI-5), Hope appears to have one blue and one brown eye (heterochromia iridum, like David Bowie). In every scene in which he appears on that show, the effect is very noticeable. I am in the process of moving, with all my DVDs packed away, so I can't confirm whether he looks this way in Aliens and other films. — SMcCandlish   Talk⇒ ɖ∘¿¤þ   Contrib. 06:56, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Having done a quick Google image search, my conclusion is that William Hope does not seem to have different colored eyes (i.e. Heterochromia Iridum), and he definitely does not have a permanently dilated pupil like David Bowie (i.e. Anisocoria). Table of Works: Order[edit]

Why is his Filmography in *reverse* chronological order? Isn't that atypical? Gprobins (talk) 18:09, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
