"After graduation" section is over-referenced[edit]

I have a general question about how to deal with this kind of citation behavior. The editor writes about scholarships granted (for example) from 2007–2011 and then gives four footnotes, one for each year. I understand what they are trying to do, but it is clunky. @GuardianH, do you have any suggestions? How about @ElKevbo? -- Melchior2006 (talk) 08:14, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
