Change name to Warner Bros. Games[edit]

I suggest changing the page name from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to Warner Bros. Games, as, since the Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League announcements, in press releases, trailers and the official website, Warner Bros. The company appears in games, press releases, and in its website as Warner Bros. Games, where it previously appeared as Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, so it's not a label, but a change of name. Grandkobu (talk) 18:27, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If I start at the main Warner Bros. website, it is still listed as "WBIE" under their Home Entertainment division. It is hard to tell if WBIE and WB Games are equivalent terms (as both are used as far back as 2017) or if the "WB Games" is comparable to "PlayStation Studios", which is a grouping of developers under Sony Interactive Entertainment. Based on very original research, this post from August 2020 was the last PR featuring the WBIE name, changing to Warner Bros. Games from this piece one week later. Note the indentical footers. Since then, their PR have consistently used "Warner Bros. Games" apart from one slip-up. Obviously, this can't be used in the article as-is, but mught serve as a good pointer. The divisions section on WB's website is obviously not up-to-date; it still lists Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga as upcoming in 2020. IceWelder [✉] 19:50, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In a recent press release about Hogwarts Legacy, its said that Portkey Games is a label of Warner Bros. Games. If Portkey Games has been previously said to be a label of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, then that proves that it changed its name to Warner Bros. Games. Grandkobu (talk) 01:08, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Early WBIE?[edit]

Wasn't Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment a thing before 2004? At the time, it was more of a licensing label, but I think that should be pointed. Warner Bros. Games also had a gold/sparkling "Interactive Entertainment" shield (used until 2020) similar to the Television Animation logo found on Warner Bros. Animation that was used before 2004.
